Yeah, man, I get your point and it's salient. But my opinion is we shouldn't class players who've had unsuccessful stints in the national team, yet still maintain consistency in club teams, as one hit.
Unlike Onuachu the other "one hit wonders" have gone below radar, Onuachu is still relevant. Even Osimhen was a one-hit at one point, he wasn't performing at national level, but club football brought him back.
Dennis is a no-hit, but if he lights up club football next season, that tag would be nonsense. As long as the player is firing in at club level, he's a potential hit.
we are classing them based on their national team careers, their club stats are not relevant to this particular discussion

Players with bad records for National team, will be called by their records in national team's, when they get to their clubs, they can continue their status.

Rohr managing the U17 will be the jackpot, imagine him bringing up 23 kids of the right age and mentoring them

Nigeria will not lack talent for next years

They should kuku appont him NPFL chairman ...
Since it appears like we don't have any other capable person in this country...

Nacho own take time sha
because his national team career actually started well, and he was starboy from U17. His first six games for SE were fire, he was our man.

If Dessers begins with a bang and then dwindles at some point, it will take time for people to start the drag

Good point, man, although I wonder why folks are recently dragging legend Ahmed Musa. Doesn't he has the most World Cup goals for us? Shouldn't he be sacrosanct? Might it be because he's no longer relevant at club level?

I am sure he will do well

Dessers will never be dragged like onauchu ,he is already a favorite here without even kicking the ball .

Isn't it double standard? Could that be because he's half-caste?

First, Billing is a Dane. Can we all keep the rule that he shouldn’t be mentioned here? The answer is no, beacaise the issue really is who mentions the name, Billing, and as long as it’s not me, it’s okay. I promise you I won’t be the first to bring his name up here when the league resumes. grin

I have nothing against you doing whatever you want to do, but passing yourself off as the only rational being on here by your trolling is what would offend me.

I have no vested interest in Billing no more like I did before. As far as I'm concerned he no longer exist in my purview.

I do not expect a Diasporan to agree with me on this occasion, because even you, have made it a habit to turn your nose up at everything Nigerian-related on this thread. Our homegrown talent are either not good enough, or are overaged, the entire country is filled with corrupt people and not a soul can be free of it.

Then, when we call you out on your anti-Nigerian stance, you remind us that you're a full Waffi boy, and write some form of pidgin English that only exists in the Diaspora undecided

The beauty of being guilty of certain traits, is that you don't recognise them in yourself often times.

For someone who has studied law your reliance on sentiment, subjectivity and presumption is troubling.

Your entire deduction is based on your own self birthed opinion.

I have challenged you before but you just without any sense of dignity COMPLETELY EVADED.

I challenge you once again to give just once instance of me showing unbridled bias and prejudice against a Nigerian home grown player.

With regards to the general statements you are making on corruption. You are being bigoted.

Finally, it's obvious you have never been to Warri once again you have no idea what you are talking about. With regards to your words highlighted in green.
