However, Canada is not all rosy as immigrants in Canada still face a hard time finding their feet, but I know you'll say "Thats not for me" Well, I trust your naija hustle spirit but reality calls.

As a researcher and blogger (factboyz dot com) I researched on immigerating to Canada and shockingly I discovered through some comments I read on a particular video; I used to doubt it cause I felt those over there were just discouraging us here form coming over, but this is shockingly true.

when I was in Africa I thought I was very poor Until i immigrated to Canada I came to realize I was no that poor in Africa. I had a $200 4 bedroom house with a wide back yard with plantations ,gardens ,planting my own food . In Canada I pay ,$ 900 for a bachalors apartement in rent plus other bills and my diet not so good. I have to rely on sometimes expired food from food bank when times are tough. . The $900 will get me to live like a King in Africa. I would rather go back and do farming.. Farmers eat and live like Kings . No stress, , Just fresh air and peace of mind. I will never take my african life for granted again . When you travel in outside countries ,you realize that you were richer than you thought . My home is my paradise no matter where I go. From my little research, most immigrants such as ladies complained of loneliness as most Canadians do not really date immigrants; I also discovered that the cost of living is high, and one cannot have enough money to save or put into savings as most income earned goes to taxes, A good number of Nigerians in Canada cannot even return cause of high debt on their neck.
Canadian weather is not funny o!! Its really cold there too.

My personal advice and conclusion; MOVE TO CANADA IF YOU HAVE A DECENT JOB, CAUSE I ALSO RESEARCHED AND FOUND OUT THAT THOSE THAT DO WELL FINANCIALLY IN CANADA HAVE GOOD JOBS (Doctors, Nurses, Engineers, Architects, Health Practitioners, Sales men etc.


I am not discouraging you from making your moves to leave Nigeria, all I am saying is research well so you don't end up living like a poor man in Canada when you lived like a King in Nigeria.

Honestly speaking.. Africans are the problem of Africa.

Rome wasn't built in a day for God's sake, why can't people look inwards, talk with one voice and demand good leadership from our leaders instead of always running overseas. Even if you like the lifestyle there, your kids might relocate back to Africa (the continent you left in ruins to enjoy ready-made luxury abroad). I mean what if the white men didn't develop their countries, would you still migrate?

Lastly, most immigrants abroad in places like US, Canada pay bills excessively (rent, power, tax etc.) but won't tell you, some have even resorted to begging just like we see back home here out of laziness.

Finally, you complain of racism but deep down, you know you are the ones responsible for racial discrimination when you fail to think on how to make things work back home but look for ways to beat the system in developed nations for your comfort. It's not something to boast about

If you're tired of Canada why not return?

If you are living a descent life in your country, why go to Canada to start afresh and be low class.

Why leave your 400k job in Nigeria to go start afresh in Canada, then you start complaining and suffering from low self esteem when you don't make it.

You are just 2 dialysis away from slipping back into poverty. Only people with hope in this country are politicians and rich people. see these people o...comparing Hell and Heaven...are they the same?...the tag third world and first world has a meaning...it's just like comparing Messi and Stanley okoro...who leaves Canada for Nigeria?...only those that are well established (made)with various means of income do that not someone still trying to get his foot steady leaving Canada to Nigeria...infact it's an abomination...

Many are migrating for their kids, citizenship and other reasons like security. Canada did not promise you heaven. There are many immigrants who get jobs in their fields. I have friends and ex colleagues in canada doing well. For those who have to start all over again by going to school get to pay cheaper school fees and have access to loans. In 2 to 3 years time them go dey alright. As for me i am going to canada for my kids and citizenship. Everything is expensive but you get value for money. Most of those who write discouraging comments are indians who have ego problems and feel they have a right to top jobs. Nonsense
