FYI my NCS digit is with one senior custom boss in Abj as well as one serving senator from my state. Irrespective of how the pendulum ball swing its still a win win. If pendulum even cut, I will continue with my 9 to 5 in Lekki. � � �

Now listen, going forward if I hear any unnecessary pim from noise makers, especially those irrelevant write-ups.

As one of the threads lead silent captain I will personally remove you from the thread as well as employment list of NCS.

Always ensure you don't put your 100% or even upto 60% of your expectations on this NCS recruitment as the pendulum can cut at any stage or even swing to the direction of the Almighty cabals. So chillax.

cost of one is #519K by estimation. The computers must be hi-tech ones. And more so, it may not cost up to that because the amount could be inclusive of carriage cost and other handling charges.

People derive joy in sensationalism the money they budgeted for includes desktop computers and printers. Factor in the cost of installation of requisite softwares, importation and other logistics in moving same to different commands. I don't know the spec of PC they're going for but a brand new desktop with good Spec will go for btw 120k to 180k depends it could be more, since NCS is a critical part of the economy one will expect them to go for the best of ICT equipments to avoid security breaches etc I won't be surprised if they go for Apple Desktop or other high end devices. People ranting here don't know that some desktop (Macintosh products) go as high as 800k per unit. NAF Helicopter flying school in Enugu uses Apple product. Also worthy of note is that printers of durable quality could cost as much as 100k+. Factor in shipping etal we might not be far from the quoted sum, again am not the mouth piece of the service, but as an IT person I have an idea of the cost of purchase, supply and installation of IcT equipments. Before we begin to cast aspersions on things we know little about we should ask for specifics/details, I know everyone is frustrated because of the delay, its understandable there is nothing anyone can do about it, other than being hopeful for the best the truth is that not everyone will make the final cut, the way people are banking so much on this job is quite amusing so it's best everyone find something else doing and don't put all eggs in one basket to avoid had I known .
