The glass is actually dark, so she is not necessarily NOT light skinned although the editing is obvious. Very scarce to see a woman's pic without editing. God go help us.

That tends to muddle up some light by colour absorption and refraction and gives you an image far from the original

For clarity, look at your reflection in tinted glass
