Pettiness, sometimes, should be kept aside especially when you don't know the genesis of the issue you discuss, and the extent it has gone. Otosirieze is not partisan, he's only interested in getting things done in the right way.

I agree with you because there is one a colleague in the office, we both work in the same place in one of the Yoruba states. I am the only guy from one of the northern states n he is the only person from South East. He is full of confidence n direct in his approach. He also stands on his ground when making his opinion n contributions during a meeting without fear. In fact, my boss is always threatening when the guy rises up to speak. He had gone on suspension n received numerous query but despite all these he is still like a lion. But one thing I appreciate about him is the fact that his submissions most of the time r channelled towards a positive direction that will bring progress but is just that he is stubborn.

I disagree that he got the job based on sentiments and emotions, sir.

Judging by the brief citation of his biography and experience, I think he's qualified.

However, I see him as being too impulsive, overtly emotional and hot-headed.

He believes firmly in the rightness of his opinion/stand and cannot be swayed even in the face of better logic and argument.

This is a common flaw with these new breed of journalists and it worries me.
