The igbos were happy when Aguiyi ironsi and ojukwu were killing the Niger deltans in kaiama in old Rivers province. Isaac boro was arrested and sentenced to death by Ironsi. As fate will have it, Ironsi died before Boro's execution date and he was released by Gowon to fight the biafran soldiers out of Rivers state. Boro's second in command during the 12 day face off Owonari is alive today to tell the story.
