Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu on Wednesday collected the nomination form for the governorship ticket of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) at the national secretariat of the party in Abuja.

Edo state governorship election is slated for September 19, 2020.

The battle line has been drawn.

Oshiomole will deploy everything within his arsenal to make sure Obaseki doesn't actualize his second term ambition. But of a truth, Obaseki really fuucked up by going against Oshiomole who brought him into power. Oshiomole fought against forces to make sure he became governor. Nobody should quote me and start saying nonsense. Nigeria politics is full of murky terrains.

I hope the baba you are saying is not Buhari, Buhari that couldn't save one if his closest pal, Amosun, even Ambode chop am.

Buhari is not interested in any party activities, u think President like OBJ would have allow all those rancour around Oshiomole as party chairman, the dullard won't have intervened if not for the APC governors that pressure him. It is only a foolish politicians that will hope on Buhari for any election victory

4+4 is non negotiable....I'll simply advise Obaseki to decamp to the PDP if he wants to be reelected.....since oshiobaba and his cohorts are bent on seeing him out of office.... PDP still have a good support in Edo state.....Atiku won there last year...2 out of the 3 senators are PDP members....
it's going to be a fight to the end.... nothing is guaranteed yet....

But to be honest he lacks what it takes to unseat the governor obaseki. Oshiomole should know the kinds of battle he engages himself in or else he is loosing relevance gradually
