sagenaija: You are good guy.Sieving through your Logic: The meaning of "right" in the dictionary covers all possible meanings and usages of that word. See the first attached Picture below. On the contrary the meaning of "logos" in Greek doesn't in any way mean Jesus. Logos (UK: /ˈloʊɡɒs, ˈlɒɡɒs/, US: /ˈloʊɡoʊs/; Ancient Greek: λόγος, romanized: lógos; from λέγω, légō, lit. ''I say'') is a term in Western philosophy, psychology, rhetoric, and religion derived from a Greek word variously meaning "ground", "plea", "opinion", "expectation", "word", "speech", "account", "reason", "proportion", and "discourse"! Any of the word above can fit in John 1:1! So how does logos became Jesus with the context you claim? |

petra1:Do you know how long it was between Isaiah and the supposed time of Jesus.. About 700 years.. The child Isaiah was talking about was born during his time.. I guess no body wrote English for you in Waec or neco.. You know the tense in "for unto us a child IS born.... Let me help you.. It is present tense. If he was referring to a future son.. He would have said.. For unto us a child WILL be born.. Well the son he was talking about was Hezekiah.. He was already about 6 years old when he was writing.. |

veeshock:Are does messianic prophesies?... Or what?. They are not messianic prophesies... Dan 7 is a dream and therefore symbolic, 9 is about the kingdoms from Persia to Roman Empire.. Isaiah 9 is about king Hezekiah.. None refer to Jesus.. |

sonmvayina:You are not even serious, what are messainic prophecies then? The ones that have the heading "messainic prophecy" Dreams are not prophecies? The intepretation of dreams are also symbolic as in Dan 7? You must be joking. Dan 9:24-26 talks directly about the Annointed or Chosen One, The Messiah, and gave a precise time frame He was to come and what would happen after that.Isaiah 9:6-7 is about who? Did you read verse 7 that says His Government and Peace shall have no end? Same thing Ezekiel 37 says. It is all about The Messiah Jesus Christ, you are free to believe whatever you like sha, but those passages are clear enough. |

sonmvayina:So I am the deluded one? So tell me where is King Hezekiahs everlasting kingdom then as you have claimed? You obviously didnt go through those passages but made rash conclusions from what you've heard from others...you now want to talk about "The Son of God"? Oga when you are ready we would know. You muslims are very ignorant, love self deceit and hypocrisy and have zero logic or else you would have seen the fraud in the one you call a prophet, but you are forbidden to think otherwise, wether you accept the truth or not it doesnt change a thing, one thing is clear from your own books, muhammad was hallucinating obviously at some point, they claimed a jew bewitched him...your most powerful allahs most reverened prophet was bewitched by a sorcerer to the extent of hallucinating...1(hallucinations) He is also said to have the sexual prowess of about 30 men, and usually goes round all his wives in one night, besides the sex slaves he had...2(high sex drive) He claims to be the last and most special prophet among all, yet he didnt see the sorcerers plan ahead, your quran is riddled with fallacies yet you claim it is pure and directly from The Most High God...3(delusions of grandeur and confabulations) He was a violent man who beheaded about 700 jews in one day and raped the wife of one the jews forcing her to be one of his numerous wives...4(sociopath and violent tendencies). 1-4 above are obvious signs of mania, he was more likely a bipolar, those with him were ignorant of these offcourse, but you guys today...are competing for who is the best muslim that you cant see the charade behind all of it. Who is deluded? Me or you who follow a deluded hallucinating sex maniac? |

AntiChristian:Jesus does not need to say he was God God because that will defeat the purpose of his coming. He didn't come to the earth as God . He humbled himself as man even though he was God. Phi 2:5 — Phi 2:8 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God thought it not robbery to beequal with God, But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. |

sagenaija:Firstly, calling someone leading billions of people on a faith is wrong, I'm a Muslim and I'm rational, I believe you just want to be on a critic position criticising but never accepting whether even if it's right. Learn how to talk without calling such names, and I'm pretty sure u can't do this in real life, so it would also be wrong if u do such online. Imagine people calling Jesus a thief cos he stole an apple in someone's garden or bastard cos he has no proven father according to the Jews. And Muhammad is not a paedophile, try to know more about him not just what u heard or read from a random book, he married a young girl at 6yrs but finally at 9years, it must have a reason.. It's an Arabian culture to marry young cos they have a very rapid and pompous growth, a 9years old of then could be like a 15yrs of now. There was a sahabah during Muhammad period that the age difference between him and his son is just 11, minus pregnancy period, meaning he could release sperm at age 10, please do u think that can be possible in today's world, so its an evidence that they have such unbelievable and rapid growth there, there are many record that women gave birth at age 13,14, 15, and even 12 and such early age then. Even in ancient Yoruba culture, men proposed to a just born baby parents, that hasn't even grown, and she'll grow to know her husband, it's a culture, likewise the ancient Arabians too, its was natural and cultural. It is necessary for one to find knowledge about the opposition in order not to look ignorant when making claims So he isn't a paedophile, it's normal as an opposition to give such names to spoil him, but trust me if Jesus was not also respected in the Quran as other prophets are respected too, trust me , Muslims too will call him names as there are even a lot of claims in the bible that can be used as backups. Also , why did u call him a war criminal, for bringing alms and fighting for his people, if u were him, would u sit and watch your enemies evade your people and get them killed, surely, No,. He was even passionate and kind with them by telling his people not to kill the Old, Young, and Women they find , how could one even be as nice as that. He fought to protect his people. OK, you said why didn't Jesus fight war too. Jesus didn't because he was sent to his people only while Muhammad was sent to the world, Muhammad took his prophecy to other part of the world including some parts in Africa . Jesus only had internal problems with his people which that could not lead to war, they can only cause him problems and not war on him, Makkah people too didn't fight war with Muhammad, they only made rift with him. If Jesus also took his prophecy to other part of the world, he would've fought with them defensively to protect his people. If I may ask u, y do u think Christians after Jesus fought wars when trying to spread gospel after Jesus died. the answer is simple , it is because they spread it to the other world. People won't just sit and watch when u try to bring a doctrine different from their existing ones and try to control them with your belief, they'll want to kill or harm u, so it's natural u also defend yourself. I hope people don't criticize blindly and learn about their opposition. From my write up , u see I didn't in any way faulted Jesus, just follow what u believe in and let other. Or do u think Jesus has no fault to bring make from him? common, even if you're as good as God, if someone doesn't like u, they can find as much as one thousand faults in u. if we continue fighting each other belief, no one will agree to u with ur own faith, cos belief is something sticky, u always think yours is the best even when there are other thousands of beliefs in the world so learn how to respect other people's belief and don't rash of them |

sonmvayina:Forget about me or what I need or not and face the real issues. These are from books written by muslims: Narrated Aisha: Once the Prophet was bewitched so that he began to imagine that he had done a thing which in fact he had not done. (Sahih al-Bukhari, Volume 4, Book 53, Number 400) Narrated Aisha: Magic was worked on Allah's Apostle so that he used to think that he had sexual relations with his wives while he actually had not (Sufyan said: That is the hardest kind of magic as it has such an effect). Then one day he said, "O ‘Aisha do you know that Allah has instructed me concerning the matter I asked Him about? Two men came to me and one of them sat near my head and the other sat near my feet. The one near my head asked the other, ‘What is wrong with this man?’ The latter replied he is under the effect of magic. The first one asked, ‘Who has worked magic on him?’ The other replied, ‘Labid bin Al-A’sam, a man from Bani Zuraiq who was an ally of the Jews and was a hypocrite.’ The first one asked, ‘What material did he use?’ The other replied, ‘A comb and the hair stuck to it.’ The first one asked, ‘Where (is that)?’ The other replied, ‘In a skin of pollen of a male date palm tree kept under a stone in the well of Dharwan.’" So the Prophet went to that well and took out those things and said, "That was the well which was shown to me (in a dream). Its water looked like the infusion of Henna leaves and its date-palm trees looked like the heads of devils." The Prophet added, "Then that thing was taken out." I said (to the Prophet) "Why do you not treat yourself with Nashra?" He said, "Allah has cured me; I dislike to let evil spread among my people." (Sahih al-Bukhari, Volume 7, Book 71, Number 660) Narrated Qatada: Anas bin Malik said, "The Prophet used to visit all his wives in a round, during the day and night and they were eleven in number." I asked Anas, "Had the Prophet the strength for it?" Anas replied, "We used to say that the Prophet was given the strength of thirty (men)." And Sa'id said on the authority of Qatada that Anas had told him about nine wives only (not eleven). (Sahih al-Bukhari, Volume 1, Book 5, Number 268) Narrated Anas bin Malik: The Prophet used to pass by (have sexual relation with) all his wives in one night, and at that time he had nine wives. According to the Quran, God sent Muhammad with truth (God's message to humanity), and as a blessing to the whole world (Quran 39:33, and 21:107). The Quran uses the designation Khatam an-Nabiyyin (33:40) which is translated as Seal of the Prophets. As for the numerous confabulations...too many, geoccentric universe, misconception about meteors, biology, geology, history, etc...but your sentiments wont let accept plain truths because you believe in a certain allah who is the best deceiver...that same serpent from the old days. We domt need another epistle of how muhammad tortured and killed many people in his life time making helpless women and children his slaves. What you need is to learn psychiatry and symptoms of mania and cross check before calling anyone a prophet. |

leksite120: First, you will agree with me that there is a certain level of MORALITY expected of leaders particularly RELIGIOUS LEADERS. Even in our world today no one will MAKE EXCUSES for a leader that falls short of the required moral standard. Second, the number of people a leader leads should not be a criterion not to say what he has done wrong or where he has fallen short of expectations. FOR EXAMPLE, Adolf Hitler led millions who revered him but should that be a singular reason not to say what he did wrong? I think your answer will be 'No'. It is possible for majority to be deceived. Now to Mohamed. He was in his FIFTIES when he married a six year old. How does that sound to you? The girl could have been a grand child of his. Imagine this: a fifty something years old man and a six years old. Sounds normal? By the way we never heard of ANY of his contemporaries who did anything similar. How come? If it were an Arabian culture how come no other contemporary of his did the same? Do you know there was a man who told Mohamed he wanted to marry a woman and Mohamed asked about her and then told the man why he didn't rather go for a young girl. His interest was not love. What was in his mind was something else. This was not the only occasion Mohamed was interested in a baby. Towards the end of his life he was reported to have seen a baby and said "If I am still alive when you grow up, I will marry you". Now imagine a possibly sixty year old man making such a statement about a baby. Does that look OK? And these are from islamic sources. Not made up. So, when Moslems are uniformed about the details of their religion and are confronted with these FACTS they cry foul. And we are not talking about any man. We talking about a man who claims to be a RELIGIOUS man. On his raiding of caravans. It is clear from ISLAMIC HISTORY that NO OTHER GROUP initiated fight against Mohamed. He started the attacks. They were UNPROVOKED. In other words, none of the people Mohamed raided did anything against him to warrant his attacks. Check your islamic history. The initial opposition to Mohamed was NOT physical. It was majorly verbal. And he eventually killed even those who were verbally opposed to him. He slaughtered HUNDREDS of Jews including teenagers and took their women and wealth. Tell me, if anyone did those things today what would he be called? Should RESPECT mean that the TRUTH should not be told? Does RESPECT mean that FACTS should not be disclosed? The truth of the matter is that modern day Moslems are trying to recreate their prophet by WHITEWASHING him. They are creating a different picture, albeit FALSE picture, of him. Did Mohamed exhibit the kind of MORAL UPRIGHTNESS expected of a religious man? Should we be excusing his flaws and shortcomings? How come even COMMON Moslems are to live by stricter rules than Mohamed? He had eleven wives plus at a time, with concubines and then sex slaves apart from Moslem women who were free to give themselves to him. And you think this is ok for a prophet's lifestyle? If so, why should anyone blaim ISIS? Many Moslems have not been told the FACTS about Islam. As a result they live with a picture of Islam they want or are told and run with it. |

sonmvayina:You don’t use human interpretation for prophecy 1 Corinthians 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. If he was referring to a future son.. He would have said.. For unto us a child WILL be born..Prophecy is not academics .present tense or past has not been issue . Abraham didn’t have a child yet when God gave him the prophecy below . Genesis 17:5 . . . for a father of many nations have I made thee. He should have rather told Abraham “ a father of many nation will I make you” You compare scriptures with scriptures . That verse is talking about Jesus the God in human body Isaiah 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. And what is Emmanuel . It means this child is “GOD WITH US” Well the son he was talking about was Hezekiah.. He was already about 6 years old when he was writing..Come off it. Then your tenses would have been wrong . It should have been a child has been born . Not a child is born that would have been appropriate on the day of the child birth . It is not Hazekiah , it’s Jesus , Hazekiah was not referred to as MIGHTY GOD . but Jesus’s God incarnate EMMANUEL.. Hezekiah was not prince of peace , he was not mighty God . |

petra1:Paul wasn't with Jesus when he was alive, infact he was a bitter enemy so he can write whatever he likes about Jesus. In short, your believe is that Yahweh left heaven to enter Mary's womb attaching Himself to her placenta to obtain nutrients. Then after Jehovah was born He sucked his mother's breast. Yahweh was circumcised and two birds were killed. Mary and Joseph even protected God from the evil king who wanted to kill Him as the Lord was still young and helpless. Yahweh was seen praying putting his face to the ground to another God for help. In the end Jehovah God was killed by the humans He created and death. When God was about to die, He shouted Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani. My Lord, My Lord, Why have you forsaken me? Here we see Yahweh accusing another Lord of abandoning Him! Death killed God for three 3days whether Thursday/Friday to Sunday... And God was able to rise in the third day! What a nice Script! |
