It might be a set up. Don't be quick to point fingers. However since the truck was found on some sort of road. It means it was formerly in motion. Now the question is was the Hon's truck stolen? If it was. Did this Hon make an official report at the police station? Or how did the truck get to that place?

I believe the story was actually refering to the booth (trunk) of a car and not a truck.
RIP to the deceased and may the mystery behind his death be quickly unraveled.
