Headless bodies of two persons believed to be a mother and her baby have been found near a primary school in Ile-Ife, Osun State on Wednesday.


The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Yemisi Opalola, who confirmed the incident on Wednesday, said the corpses were dumped opposite the AUD Primary School, Isale Agbara, Ile-Ife.

Residents of the area told our correspondent that the corpses must have been dumped at the scene on Tuesday evening. They explained that the bodies were without clothes, while the baby was wearing a diaper.
