Over 50 Decomposed, 20 Headless Bodies Recovered In Lokpanta Cattle Market, Abia by Metrix147: 9:00am On Oct 30, 2023
Abia State Government has discovered over 50 decomposed dead bodies, over 20 headless bodies, and countless human skeletons all around Lokpanta Cattle Market in Umunneochi LGA of the State.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dJcZPcpOeAA

The Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti disclosed this during his monthly media chat tagged “Governor Alex Otti Speaks to Abians”, held in Government House, Umuahia. He assured that his government is committed to tackling the issues of insecurity headlong without minding whose ox is gored.

Governor Otti said that prostitution, narcotics trade, and other criminal vices around the Lokpanta Cattle Market necessitated the raid of the market as some brothels were recently brought down and there is now calmness in Umunneochi.

The Governor, who insisted that the Lokpanta market would become a daily market that would open at 6am and closes at 6pm would now become a general market as sections are alloted to the cattle dealers and other businesses too. He made it public that his administration is equally fencing the market all in an effort to ensure adequate security.

According to him, the Lokpanta area was notorious for kidnapping and armed robbery, hence the decision of his administration to make the market a daily one. He said though the policy was misunderstood, after a meeting with the leadership of the market, everyone agreed with the government’s stand on making the market a daily one for the good of all.

He further noted that, “We are single-minded about rooting out insecurity in Abia State. Because we know that no government can succeed in the face of insecurity, violence, armed and kidnapping.”

What's wrong with some people in this country.

With Charnel houses everywhere, Nigeria must be the headquarters of ritualists in Africa

Ipob terrorists at it again.

Kanu and his minions including their sponsors should never see day light again.

But that guy is damned lucky, no other regions in Nigeria will condone his devilish acts except where he held sway before his incarceration.

Instead of the victims to support the government to deal mercilessly with him, they are busy pressurising the government to free their killers.

What a people!!!

Obviously, they are kidnapped victims probably killed for not paying ransoms. When Gov. Otti temporarily shut the market down, haters said it’s an attack against the Hausas, now the governor have been vindicated.

UAR my corntree.
Everything is for political optics.
This kain thing happen, No Forensics, no effort to trace the identities of the bodies, no investigation into what happened or how to catch the perpetrators, etc.
The Governor has already hijacked the fact of the matter and is piggybacking on it for self aggrandizement.
If this is really true, the Governor as the CSO of the state is supposed to mandate the CP of the state to fish out the killers and their accomplices while tasking the state Ministry of Health and/or Sciences to liaise with international partners in identifying the remains in order to notify their families but NO. We’re UARians. We bury our dead and move on.

Such a pity

Ever ask yourself why outsiders/non-Igbos NEVER go to invest in the East? They are too hostile to none indigenes even to their fellow Igbos. An Anambra man hates an Ebonyi man with passion.

How are we not sure that;
1. Those killed were the non-igbos?
2. That the area is not a cannibal (human eaters) zone? Because i hear stories that alot of those areas are in the East. Because cattle market and then dead bodies. Meat na meat abi?
3. That area is a dumping ground for the terrorist organisation called IPOB.

But If i talk now them go say na me hate East. Whereas i hate the cruel and hostile nature of the few who have made the East look horrible. Igbos are good people but...

That's the headquarters of kidnapping, the army and police guarding the market day and night are just a ruse for the crimes going on around that market.

I hope the perpetrators are found and brought to book. Imagine inside a cattle market, the threat to public health alone is something to worry about. Then who are those killed? Why were they killed? Were they kidnapped? Were their flesh sold as meat? Are the killings cult-related or is it another case of Okija Shrine? Any the killers random criminals or are they affiliated to IPOB/UGM?

We need to improve our crime forensic investigations and analysis in this country.

This is serious! Many families that lost their wards or members would still think they are somewhere but never knew they’ve been maimed and dissected gruesomely …
