I love moi moi so much, very much.
I've been eating moi moi prepared by other people or by restaurants.
I decided to prepare it myself yesterday.
It was difficult to make.... especially the beans washing.
I practically had to remove the husk one by one....very time consuming.. angry

The beans I had was already infested by insects, weevils I think but I can't allow food to waste.
Kindly rate my beans washing in a scale of 1-10.
Are there other easy ways and faster ways to wash beans for moi moi.

You tried but next time soak the beans in water for 2 minutes, then gentle Pound in moter to remove the husk. in less than 7 minutes your beans will y ready.

Thank you...but I don't have a mortar.
The difficult part for me was separating the husk.
Do you think I need to get a mortar?

lol..I didn't use sponge but I had to almost wash it one after another...very tiring and time consuming.
I will get a small mortar like someone suggested next time.

Pulse using a blender

Soak for few minutes
Pour in blender
Pulse for like few seconds twice
You are good to go.
It saves time and energy.

I don't peel all I leave some if Blender didnt finish it. The skin is good too
