The respect is because of low patronage. It is human psyche. Just like a particular supper market overwhelmed with customers and enjoying monopoly during my NYSC days. Those working there use to talk to customers as if they came to beg. Until few years later and one after the other many alternatives sprang up. That first Super Market humbled themselves because the can't afford to lose the few customers managing to come and buy at their place.
