Chinese citizens have no rights and can be picked up by the secret police for criticizing the countries leadership .Look at what they just did to Hong Kong recently.
Let Nigeria default on any loan and see what they will do to us.

how many buildings do you want mentioned? without gain saying it is better you conclude they amalgamated Nigeria.
nonsense you guys are always waiting for the country's name to come out negative everytime, what a human you guys are!?
if a day passes by without one negative news or the other about Nigeria you don't find joy. Why?

I hope when a snake bites you, that you make a monument of it. When has stating the obvious truth become bad? The developed countries of the world didn’t become developed with citizens like you who appreciate gestures from govt that they deserve.

Lol Nigeria should start building it's own stuff. If Africans countries were smart they wouldn't compromise their security in this manner. The AU union was bugged and they're still ready to jump in bed with Huawei.
Even if you use Cisco, Ericsson then its the west who will control our data, we will always be someone's bitxh until we start developing things for ourselves

This is not new. China is mainly remote electronic surveillance.
The west including the middle East countries are using the churches and mosque to hide their surveliance

you forgot citizens of your so adored developed countries won't rejoice over or sick the pit fall of their beloved developed country.
they would rather come after their weak and wicked leaders not the collapse of the entire structure just because they hate their leaders.

Do chinese even need building to spy on us? They literally have a big magnifying glass pointed on us, watching everything we do. We already sold the country. Thanks Buhari.
It can be reversed by simply paying back what we loaned.

In January 2018, six years after the opening of the AUCC, a report in the African edition of Le Monde, confirmed by the Financial Times, claimed that the AU's IT department had discovered in early 2017 that the site's computer systems were connecting nightly to servers in Shanghai and uploading AU files as well as recordings from microphones embedded in the walls and furniture.[7][8] The building's computer system was subsequently removed and the AU refused a Chinese offer to configure the replacement system. Le Monde alleged that the AU had then covered up the hack to protect Chinese interests in the continent.[7][8]

There is no superpower or serious country that will not do the same whether US, Russia, or UK. Valuable intelligence confers immense advantage even in corporate world.

In fact America's CIA is worst when it comes to eavesdropping to high profile conversations as well as compromising other countries' coded communications or classified information. They did it to Angela Merkel of Germany in the recent past by compromising her phone. Another classic example is this story by Washington Post:
https://www.washingtonpost.com/graphics/2020/world/national-security/cia-crypto-encryption-machines-espionage/

My only concern is whether our own National Intelligence Agency (NIA) has the capabilities to gather economic, political and security intelligence that will give Nigeria edge at least starting from our ECOWAS brethren. That's why I was taken aback by the surprise and shock that followed the sudden hijacking of ECOWAS' proposed ECO currency by France in union with Francophone countries. The impression was that no advance intelligence was picked NIA about the efforts of Francophone countries to break ranks.

I've been reading the comments here and I can see alot of people are misinformed out of unfounded hatred for Chinese people.

The article above wasn't even written on behalf of African nations. it was clearly written on behalf of the countries who are most good at spying on other countries.

Imagine an article trying to discredit Chinese influence over espionage that is a routine activity of the US and it's allies.

Sir. OBJ did that by appointing the right people, and not basing entirely on Nepotism. If Buhari had his way, a Northern muslim would have been the head of NCDC. But thank our stars that NCDC is largely funded by WHO, so they get to appoint the leader.
