I don't even know where they're going with this game. I thought they stopped MGS to focus more on PES. FIFA's gameplay is intolerably bad but, at least they're trying to bring new things and improvements to appeal to their fans. But, PES are leaving everything else while adding little tweaks to gameplay. It's exhausting and discouraging. Champions league was the only thing they had keeping them in the competition with FIFA. Now it's no competition at all
I'll buy the 2 though and give PES one last chance to see

konami screwed up metal gear series with metal gear online that game is just the worst

that's why konami created pes lite for fans who won't buy the full game but wants to play my club

I believe Konami stopped producing MGS games because of Hideo Kojima, the legendary creator of the game. After Konami unceremoniously pushed out Hideo Kojima, and even tried to humiliate Kojima at an award show, I lost all the respect I had for Konami.
Konami could have easily buried EA's FIFA franchise some years ago, but they let the opportunity pass. As long as Konami don't step up their game, don't expect EA to bother.
As an aside, look at the silly way Konami handle their PES MOBILE updates, it's a travesty. Why, oh why do I have to download about 1.5GB of data just to update a mobile game?

If you love realistic graphics and stunning details then pes is your best bet,every other things like realistic modes,commentary,interface ,license,etc FIFA wins.

My fifa 14 doesnt really play well on my ps2, some particular pad cant even play it at all for the pads that play it,,the passes dont connect like that,,mosttimes when they trap ball, they first move back before they start going front, its just frustrating,,and i cant give a side pass when im in front of an opponents goalpost,,de will always pass it back,,
Pls who knows what the problem,,or is it just cos its ps2,,i feel fifa doesnt work well on ps2

i have been a Pes fan for quite some years and hated fifa's gameplay all those time cause i felt it was sluggish compared to pes' fast paced soccer. This was so until a friend convinced me to give fifa a try and not just be in a rush to condemn it and since then, my perception about it has totally changed. I started playing fifa consistently from 18 and i'm currently playing 20 and i can confidently tell u that fifa beats pes in almost every category. From ur analysis, i can tell that u re a pes fan but don't worry, one day u will see the light like i saw
