John 15:2.Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he "taketh away".It is to be regreted that most bible translations did a great injustice to the translation of this verse.In fact most of them "interpreted" instead of translating it.
In the Greek ,"airo",the word rendered take away never means "cut off".It means(to raise up,elevate,lift up,to raise from the ground,take up:stones,to raise upwards,to draw up.to take upon one's self and carry what has been raised up,to bear.to bear away what has been raised.)
And there is no wise and prudent vinedresser that cuts off an unfruitful branch.Rather he lifts it up from the ground and "cleanses and purifies it".(v3)
