Ogbeni, wetin be your mata?

Can you man up and confront Akeredolu and tell him he is selling your state to strangers?

Abeg stop embarrassing yourself...

We have been giving off our delectable daughters to you guys for free...This is about the first one with benefit/dividend and you are crying yourself to stupor.

Get yourself busy...She is a mere special assistant read PA and not the Governor of Ondo State....

I don't think people should be discriminated against because of their relationship choices.

We have had Yoruba first lady of Benue state in the past too.

Do not compare any northern state to east, they are not hard-line ethnic bigots. They allow everyone to live in their place and become whatever you can just like the Yoruba. Ordinary land, you cannot buy in the east.

I understand your point but I still don't think a person should be denied to aspire a position because of their marital choices.

Lol. OP wants to die of hypertension. Instead of campaigning against voting your brothers who married non Yoruba women, why not just tell them to stop marrying outside the Yoruba tribe?Chai... I know exactly your problem. The problem is that she's Igbo. If she was Hausa or any other tribe, you won't have any problem with it. We know you type.

Behind most successful Yoruba men there is an Igbo lady , that's why Yoruba men are rushing to marry Igbo women

Ikechukwu femi kayode can testify

Yes, you are right, Evans the billionaire kidnapper has an Igbo wife behind him. Even Atikuchukwu the Cameroonian bisexual was assisted in money laundering by his Igbo wife Jennifer Douglas.

Benue people are good people..we won't complain if our first lady is from them

But a first lady from a very selfish and greedy extraction that sees Yoruba as their enemy and will never allow a Yoruba to be given appointment in their lands must be nibble in the bud.

They have thought us tribalism altitudes and we shall play it back to them in folds.

Shut up. This is an example of a Yoruba man (Rotimi Williams) in the North who controlled like 45,000 hectares of farmland.

There are also numerous Yorubas in the North living peacefully and owning lands and houses. Infact there are some Yorubas that have lived most of their lives in the North.

Let us support Yoruba women and their spouse into Govt House. In every region of the country the woman in First Lady position is a daughter of the soil, not foreigner. Why can't Yoruba woman be First Lady in her own region?

When you make women of other regions your First Lady you also authorize to them a privilege to bring in and employ, above you, people of other region into your govt.

Yoruba may be sophisticated but Nigeria is crude. You bring crudeness into Yoruba government as we see happening in Ondo. Learn from this and do the right thing going forward.

Vote Yoruba woman as First Lady!

@OP.

I see your point but people marry for love and not in preparation for an office to come in 20-30 years time. This is about a man being principled and in control always.

It is the man who must remain a man about his business and not be a pata obinrin or indulging walkover for any wife or female love interest.

What Akeredolu did is annoying and unprincipled. It makes me see him in a new light. How can he indulge his wife in a way that will offend his electorate and appear a slap on the face to them in highly tribalistic Nigeria. How is this non-Ondo appointee the best qualified for the position?

A non-indigene appointee, to a specialist State position, with no prior affiliation to Ondo is an insult to the many unemployed competent and qualified sons and daughters of Ondo.

I dont blame Akeredolu's Igbo wife. I only blame a man who is unprincipled enough to not be able to refrain from indulging a demanding and nepotistic spouse. I now see Akeredolu as no different to GEJ who let Patience Faka run riot.

How a man handle his women says a lot about him.

This thread is not really needed because most men are not going to be as weak-minded, puccy-whipped and insensitive as Akeredolu is.

Well as a person, I don’t have any reason to go and own a land in any other part of the country outside Yoruba land.

Not because I’m a tribalist, but I think Yoruba land still maintain some peace and cosmopolitan advantage over its peers in Nigeria.

Coupled with the fact SW is also the economic and entertainment hub of Nigeria. So I don’t see the need why I need to go to other region personally.
