Trump swore to protect America from enemies, foreign and domestic and not doing that will be dereliction of duty.

Never has America been governed by two presidents and govts at the same time, but it has happened now and has to be resolved any way Trump sees fit.

Trump can't watch while America falls, and it's better for the military to do it than have the right wings get involved just as you would if your brother is beating your mother and you would love to beat him to death. Let me give you a small example of something similar here in Nigeria while in was at IFE (University of IFE ).
Around 1988, during one of the protest by students, and student was shot and killed by a policeman. This exasperated the situation, and students was about rioting, the then V.C. Prof Wande Abimbola quickly reached out to the student union and called for an urgent meeting with with the students. The meeting was set for the football field at the sports centre. The V.C. who is an Ifa priest came wearing his full Ifa regalia. As rude as the students were, he spoke calmly and asked everyone to sit down. He himself sat on the bare ground and discussed with the student leaders. After about 1 hour of intense negotiations, the V.C. ordered the police off campus, and a major catastrophe was averted.
Professor Wande Abimbola's tenure was the only period I recall that there was no major riot in IFE. A good administrator listen to grievances and calm the nerves of aggrieved people, not issue threats.

The whole country is grieving right now, there are protests in all 50 states. The best a president should do is to console the whole country. No one is saying he should order for the execution of the police officers, what he is expected to do is console the family of George Floyd, console the state of minnesota and promise justice for the George Floyd.

You will notice that cities where the protests were very peaceful were where the police chiefs engaged the rioters in a friendly and amicable manner. Some even matched with the protesters.

1. Trump should not really put mouth in an ongoing investigation but he did anyway.
2. He got DOJ involved and asked them to expedite and get civil case part going.
3. He called the family and promised them justice when he had no jurisdiction.
4. He's telling the mayors and governors of the places involved to do their job.
5. He will now have to use insurrection act to nip the whole thing since some mayors and police are part of the deepstate and not protecting lives and properties but are there to be activated by the deepstate.

Trump has no choice than use the military, this is war and he has to fight it. It doesn't matter what he does, you enemies of this great country will blame him anyway.
