yes, focus on your hustle and make your money. There are people still making their money and most times they don't complain because they have lost faith in the government and it is better not to think about buhari and his stupidity.

What exactly is going on in Nigeria ? Is it now Arewa republic under this highly nepotistic administration of Buhari ? The painful part of all this is that some morons are quite cool with it. They see nothing wrong with it and if you dare call their attention to these obvious imbalances, they start speaking some terrible English.

Nigeria is a country where victims of oppression are praising and defending their tormentors ! This is what happens when a tribal warlord is made the president of a multicultural country like Nigeria. A man who only finds trustworthy Nigerians in his own arewa community; an ethnic chauvinist !

Any southerner that still supports the present administration and its evil party,APC needs to be quickly checked into psychiatric facility for mental evaluation.

This is disgusting to say the very least

this same scenario is playing out at CBN, and other top government agencies and parastatals, these managers and directors listed above all have boys and girls working under them, who are all northerners.

What you have to understand is that nepotism is systematic. It doesn't just start one day. It accumulates over the years. Let me break it down.

An example.
20 years ago, 100 people get employed by NNPC. 65 percent northerners, 35 percent southerners. 20 years along the line, those from northern extract may have been promoted more rapidly than those from the southern region due to Nepotism and favouritism rather than performance and fairness.

Let's say a vacancy arise for the post of DMD and the policy being that the candidate should be from level 15 and 16. Due to the systematic promotions over the years, only northerners may be eligible as very few southerners may have attained that level. Which means a northerner will get the role eventually either by vote or appointment. This is not just about the north and the south. It is a common practice among organisations of which Nigerian parastatals can be categorised as such.

This will not exist if promotions are based on merit and federal character was obeyed while employing people initially. It is not about Buhari or the current government. It's about the seeds we planted as a nation 20-25 years ago.

@Saharareporters, try and be constructive when publishing your news. Reading this gives one the impression that a toddler wrote it.

You people should stop complaining. It is better we all Southerners continue to serve the Northerners than for for them to drive us into the Alantic ocean and kill all of us.

They control the Armed forces,
Police
Custom
DSS.
Custom
Immigration
Efcc
and others.

They also control
Boko Haram
Fulani Herdsmen
Bandits.

So what do South have to control the Northern power?

Lets promote peaceful coexistence by allowing the North to remain our Masters.
Anything they give us, let us accept wholeheartedly. The North is our Masters period

The SE is not forcing the SS to join them the south south is trying to steal Igbo groups into their whatever. We see nothing wrong with the SS but in a secession situation we are not dragging ijaw Edo or akwa ibom or whatever land with anybody but no single inch of Igbo land would be sceeded to any Niger delta republic.

Simple and short.

We dont want SS they can go there way.

But as they do hand over our lands and go.

Easy as ABC
exactly we are not dragging ss,but we won't allow them take any igboland, which include opobo and bonny,I for one prefer an igbo country, but na still dem ijaw and the rest they claim they are more biafran than Igbo's, go to Ekpa Simeon page and mazi KANU Facebook page and see them claiming Biafra....

The day IBB moved Nigeria's capital to the north was the day the north won over the rest of the nation.this nepotism will continue even if a southerner becomes president all top govt institutions will still be dominated by the north unless this country disintegrate.

Bro, if Nigeria should eventually break up before that year 2049, which region or new country will be paying the debt. Or will it be shared evenly among the new countries??

Could it be the reason for the inability of the different regions of the country to go separate ways or even a mechanism to keep the country together??
If Nigeria breaks. debt will probably be written off as it will be none performing loan

You claim you hate Kanu because he abused yoruba? Didn't you abuse MASSOB? Didn't you yoruba abuse Uwazurike who never insulted ndi yorubar, didn't you yorubas cheer whenever BZM and MASSOB members were arrested and killed like common criminals?

The old threads are here on NL, where you insult, abuse Ben onwuka of BZM and other Biafrans. What did they ever do to you, mr yoruba. It was one of the reasons why Kanu started calling you yorubas out. yoruba you enjoy supporting evil too much. Stop it.

So with this evidence, you sincerely want us to believe that yorubas would not have insulted Kanu and IPOB if he didn't mention yorubas?

I have cornered you, now give us your response. We want to see how you meander from these facts. grin

Do we have to resort to misplaced tribal jabs before making comments? #Ewedu politicians/#Brown Roofs...etc.

Nepotism as a result of tribal or religious affiliations and other Nigeria's problems didn't start today, it has been in existence for decades.

So instead of shifting blames, having 'smart' opinions or making rude comments, let's denounce issues that affects the progress of this nation.

Lies! Lies! Lies! Lies! All Muslim top 20 executives in NNPC?

But sadly, some people will believe it.

At the top of the NNPC company structure(the 5 Autonomous Business Units (ABUs), there are 3 Southerners.

COO, Ventures and Business Development Directorate - Roland Onoriode Ewubare
COO, NNPC Downstream - Lawrencia Nwadiabuwa Ndupu
COO, NNPC Upstream - Adeyemi Adetunji

MDs of some NNPC subsidiaries that are from the South

Catherine Ngozi Iheme (MD NETCO)
Babatunde Bakare (MD NGPTC)
Ada Oyetunde (MD NPSC)
Sir Billy Okoye (MD NNPC Retail)
Christiana U. Onabu (MD NIDAS)
Diepriye Tariah (MD IDSL)
Ezekiel Osarolube (Kaduna Refining and Petrochemical Company)

Some GGMs of Divisions

Kennie Obateru (GGM Public Affairs)
Adokie Tombomieye (GGM Crude Oil Marketing)
Bola Afolabi (GGM Research & Development Division)
Thank you for reeling out these names.
I looked through their résumés on Linkendin and its staggering. They're all thoroughbred processionals.

It is appalling what this thread later turned to. If Yorubas talk, you go complain..if dem no talk you go complain nawa o
Some SEerners were even saying the SWerners are just starting their suffering. Abeg..who dey suffer?..before Crude oil became a thing of note, were the SW suffering? And who told you they're not going to be fine post-crude oil? They boast of higher intellectuals anyday. By calculation, SW is still better than SE take it or leave it; they earn moderate and there prices of things are equally moderate. They have what they have despite their fewer population by comparison. Stop wanking furiously on threads that doesn't necessarily involves only the Yorubas. They are not the cause of your *perceived* misfortune. Yorubas are about the most liberal tribe in Nigeria.; that shouldn't be mistaken for lukewarmness. Afteral, a handful population of SE/SSerners voted Buhari. Biafra..I can only pray it happens, I doubt the reality. Only restructuring is feasible. The best we can do for ourselves is to be realistic. I do not expect any SEerners to barge into this thread and support the N or W but atleast let's enlighten ourselves..as that may be the bedrock of a future action.

Nnamdi Kanu wud av been appreciated if he didn't abuse yorubas..... Or SS..

He needed support, to get SE, Igbos need SS and SW support.. He shud do it in the right way, not threaten and insulting other tribes...

So it is time for igbo man to laugh abi? U must be joking, until u get Biafra, we are suffering it.. We gonna suffer it till Jesus comes unless we go separate.

My only pity is SS, their land is been exploited and they are nt even enjoying the gain of their oil...

Blame Azikwe partly for this too, Awolowo warned then that the 3 tribes can't be one... He warned several timez but our fathers were too blind to see it... It's very obvious now.

Only if Azikwe had supported Secession clause, we wunt be in this mess

Pls reply me with sensible point... U don't need to insult me... Insult only renders ur point pointless

Thanks... No hatred

SS se SW need to stand... It is South vs north now.. Trust me we need each other back..
