Except he has another income source then fuel for car and DSTV should not be in his present list of expenditure.
He may also opt to invest 5k instead of the 10k. The truth is, even if you earn 1 million per month, if you don't want to invest, you will also have enough excuses not to, that is life.
What do you think?

where did u get the 70m workforce idle in the north? Agriculture which constitute 70 percent of Nigeria Gross domestics products is done in the North....u cant tell me the millions of farmers producing tomatoes, onions ,beans ,sorghum ,rice ,beef ,milk ,corn ,millet, irish patatos , grandnuts, ginger, limes , oranges ,yams in million of tonnes are idle...

Agriculture does not constitute 70% of Nigeria's GDP.

In fact, agriculture constitutes only 21% of Nigeria's GDP.

Just correcting some wrong information on your part.

Some teachers also earn 20k and below plus it might not be coming consistently.

In such scenario, investment reasoning might not even ring in one's brain, na daily survival go be your default setting and how to improve.

I beg to disagree. When I was earning 35k 4years ago I had my monthly savings. Savings is a culture irrespective of earnings.

When I was still street wise, I saved 50% of every profit or gift I get. That's how I built my first house without a job. If you can't save from 1k then you can't save from 1m. Today I save 100%/of my salary. I live a life I can sustain without the job so I definitely don't need the salary for anything except to invest and build my portfolio thereby increasing my take home pay. You can't chew your cake and have it. The earlier you start, the better for you and your dependants.

How much transaction?

It's only humane to be sympathetic to others' plight, considering the large scale impact of the fx market on prices of goods and services on the populace.

E no mean say I go close my dollar account or reject dollar-denominated earning offers. Person wey dey cry dey see road.

However, I realise that gains are not overly high, because you'll still use your converted dollar to purchase the inflated goods and services. Also, family and friends wahala dey wait for am as well.

May the ancient wisdom guide us through life.

As seen on Instagram.

"Ritualist Alert! Alert!! Alert!!!

Please everyone be careful of the buses you enter. There is a new plan by ritualists to start kidnapping people in mass, using transportation buses.

These are the things you should look out for:

1. Once you enter a bus and notice that the bus driver can't stop talking about himself and his heroic acts, immediately tell the bus driver to stop the bus as though you forgot something and get the hell out of that bus. The purpose of the many talk is to get you interested and so you can trust him, but please don't fall for this.

2. Notice that these drivers are very familiar with officers at different check points. Please Note- that these officers are not aware of these drivers evil intentions, they too were tricked into trusting them (the drivers). This step should be notice more by people who are traveling.

3. Please notice, once the bus driver is about taking an unknown short cut, one that no one in the bus knows of or has used before. Especially on road where there are check points at the entrance (please note that this is done to make to feel relax, you will think "after all there is a check point at the entrance so nothing bad can happen, right?",) This is what they want you to think but don't fall for this, immediately raise an alarm and tell everyone in the bus to order the driver back to the main road. If this fail continue to raise an alarm until the officers at the check point can hear you. Remember these officers don't know about the driver's evil intentions.

5. Let's assume you've fallen for all of the above steps. Once the driver takes this unknown short cut and at the middle of the journey decide to stop in other to get out of the bus for one excuse or the other, especially if it's to go ease themselves or fix something. Raise an alarm and urge everyone in the bus not to allow the driver step out of that bus, and begin to pray. This is no joking matter, because the moment the driver steps out of the bus the next plan is to blow a white powder substance into the bus. This will make every single person in the bus to start hallucinating and loose control of their mind. At this stage only Divine Intervention can save you.

Please note that this involves both transportation within the state or city and transportation outside the state or city. Please be vigilant and stay alert.

Please if you notice one or two or three or all of the things said above, do not hesitate to raise an alarm and run for your life.

Share this with your family and loved ones and friends, keep sharing because you're about to save souls from the hands of wicked and unreasonable men.

May God keep and protect you, your friends, your family and your loved one

Jeez, it's crazy, that means if a man decide to start paying 10k into an investment every month with a 10% per annum as soon as a child is born, he can hand over 20 million to the child on his 30th birthday.

Something like that

Tho inflation will definitely chop off some of the value
But its still a very very very great prospect

Good morning

Please I need the gurus to help me settle this matter.

With the help of a member here, i'm trying to delve into octafx and then this came up

I have 5M and a colleague equally has 5M and we're trying to pool funds together to get a 13 ton trailer for logistics purpose. Made inquiry and we're likely to get one for 6.5M.

My colleague has an old school mate who works at boulox. After an appointment with her, she is eager to help us once we get the trailer and then she'll put us through. Although she made mention of 4 criteria they require which I honestly can't remember. But I'm very aware one is insurance of 2m per trip if my memory serves me well

My question is what are the challenges we're most likely to face owning a truck? Is 10M enough to start up without downsides?

comprehensive insurance should not be more than 400k per anum for the truck, then Good in transit insurance will be done by the firm.....maintaince comsump about 30 percents of income ..do a background check on the driver ...he should get a verifable reference from previous employer .cos he makes or mar the business....pay him above average

Also remember to depreciate the truck over 5 years.....it a deprecating asset ...so u will be keeping 50k ever months then at rhe end of 5 years u saved 3m ...then sell truck for 3.5m =6.5 m your capital is back ...make provisions for devalutions of naira ....what the value of 6.5 in 5 years time so u might need 70k monthly...then add inflations trends on it ...so u might make 80k provision ever months...then add tyres, insurance, wages ,maintenance, spare part ,cost of administers.....then check if u made a profit ....compare it with fixed return of 11.2 on fgn bond to find out if u are supposed to invest or not.......free consultancy....

Friends and family wàhálà will be there regardless. Same with goods and services prices. Your humanism probably won't stop those from happening.
Personally, you'll be better prepared for those outcomes.

If you were a bank shareholder, would you accept this humanism from a Board and potentially be worse off?
So, Segun Agbaje should tell his board and shareholders that he didn't go long on FX assets because it would be bad for the larger population?
