The total American eclipse of 21st August 2017 was a signal to the heavens of the world that they have only three days to repent of their sins and wickedness before the wrath of God descends on them. Because the Son of God is going to rise in judgment on the third day

We know that the three days corresponds to three years because it is this year that we arrived at the sign of the son of man in heaven, which is the immediate sign before the coming of Jesus. The total American eclipse occurred in the summer of 2017, when we count three days and three nights beginning from summer 2017 then this watch ends at spring 2020. What this means is that we are effectively now in the third day which will end with this spring. The Bible says that this generation, the three-day generation, shall not pass till all be fulfilled.

Another evidence that we are on the right path is that Jesus tells us that when we see these signs we should know that he is already at the doors. Jesus uses the relationship between spring and summer to show us that the culmination of everything is at hand

Why did the people of Nineveh repent when Jonah preached to them? Extra-biblical sources indicate that they saw the Bur Sagale eclipse just around the time that Jonah came to preach to them, this apparently is the signal that they interpreted that God wanted them to repent of their sins

In the Bible, a specific event or a set of specific events define a generation. There is Noah's generation, Joseph's generation, Caleb and Joshua's generation etc., we will try to examine these generation, this background will help us to understand what Jesus means when he says:

Matthew 24:34
Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

This background will help us to understand the question, 'which generation?'

Noah's generation

Genesis 7:1-3
7 And the Lord said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation.

Noah lived in a time when the wickedness of men was very great upon the earth, this generation of people would not obey God. This generation excelled in doing evil. This was Noah's generation, the people of that age.

Genesis 6:5-9
5 And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
6 And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.
7 And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.
8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.
9 These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.

The generation of Noah grieved God's heart to no end with their wickedness and refusal to repent from their iniquities.

At the end of the day, God testified that he had found Noah as the only righteous man in his generation.

This was a generation of wickedness, but, only Noah was approved by God

This wicked generation passed on at the flood

Joseph's Generation

Exodus 1:5-7
5 And all the souls that came out of the loins of Jacob were seventy souls: for Joseph was in Egypt already.
6 And Joseph died, and all his brethren, and all that generation.
7 And the children of Israel were fruitful, and increased abundantly, and multiplied, and waxed exceeding mighty; and the land was filled with them.

We see here Joseph's family and all the actors in that saga of his birth, preference, enslavement, his recall of his father and family to Egypt. They were all called that generation

Here again we are seeing all the actors in a particular event or series of related events being called a generation. Who were the people of this generation?

1 Now these are the names of the children of Israel, which came into Egypt; every man and his household came with Jacob.
2 Reuben, Simeon, Levi, and Judah,
3 Issachar, Zebulun, and Benjamin,
4 Dan, and Naphtali, Gad, and Asher.

The generation of Caleb the son of Jephuneh and Joshua the son of Nun

Numbers 32:12-14
12 Save Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenezite, and Joshua the son of Nun: for they have wholly followed the Lord.
13 And the Lord'S anger was kindled against Israel, and he made them wander in the wilderness forty years, until all the generation, that had done evil in the sight of the Lord, was consumed.
14 And, behold, ye are risen up in your fathers' stead, an increase of sinful men, to augment yet the fierce anger of the Lord toward Israel.

We are all familiar with the story of Caleb and Joshua. There were twelve spies sent out to search out the land, the other ten brought back a message of gloom and doom, they failed to trust in God. Only Joshua and Caleb brought back a message of faith and hope and trust in the Almighty God.

The faithlessness of this generation made Israel to tarry for forty years in the wilderness until that generation was all consumed.

Numbers 32:13
And the Lord'S anger was kindled against Israel, and he made them wander in the wilderness forty years, until all the generation, that had done evil in the sight of the Lord, was consumed.

Deuteronomy 1:35
Surely there shall not one of these men of this evil generation see that good land, which I sware to give unto your fathers.

Deuteronomy 2:14
And the space in which we came from Kadeshbarnea, until we were come over the brook Zered, was thirty and eight years; until all the generation of the men of war were wasted out from among the host, as the Lord sware unto them.

Now we have examined three generations to give us a composite understanding of what the Bible means, when it describes an epoch of time marked by an event, or a series of events, as a generation

An evil generation is one that does evil, an adulterous generation is the one that refuses to follow the commandment of God.

There can be no ideological vacuum, if a generation refuses to follow the law of God, it must of necessity follow the laws of satan. This is adultery.
