SHALOM! The Holy Bible is a collection of Books purportedly written by Holy Men inspired by God. Most Christians believe what they have been told to to believe, from lazy naïveté. In earlier centuries to this day, one could literally lose their life from disagreeing with the Clerical Lines- no matter how absurd. Most Christians believe that The Bible contains neither Contradiction nor Deception- without ever having read the whole Bible, before adopting that Belief. Few who have actually read the whole Bible can remember everything they have read, so they cannot remember where they have read contradictions or lies. The Bible is virtually worshipped as a Perfect Artifact from God- by people who have never bothered to study Its making. The Oyinbo Massas needed their Slaves- fellow Oyinbos and other Races- to believe in a "Magical Bible" only they could understand. Making Believers and Unbelievers both so confused and divided, that they became easily ruled by them. The Ethiopian Bible reportedly has 88 Books, while the original Western Bible had 78 Books. That is from 12-22 Books many Christians have never even heard of, let alone read themselves. It becomes obvious why the Oyinbos didn't want several of these Books in their Bibles, upon a cursory examination, when you consider their History and their Goals. For instance, the King James Bible was published in 1611, by which time, the English had officially sanctioned TransAtlantic Slavery for 48 years. How could the English Oyinbos want Books in The Bible directly condemning their actions, and passing Judgment on all their Race? If it is about the slave trade.. Arabs have been trading in slaves centuries before the English got wind of it. They did not give anything to their slaves, in fact to the Arabs, a black man is a slave that must be made to work at all times. The master owns him and everything he has. Even up till this Era, they still can't accept an African man as equals, they are merely managing to live in the same world where a black man is not a slave to them, the Arabs cannot wrap their brains around it. Now, if we condemn people for trading in slaves, have we considered that someone was there actually selling the slaves to these people and who were those people....? They were our forefathers who wíthout shame were selling their children for a bottle of whiskey, umbrellas, combs, mirrors, etc. African kings and queens were selling their subjects to the slave workers so let's begin the hate from them and stop trying to make it about the people that brought religion to us... Ethiopia was the only country in Africa that was not colonized. I was watching a video on youtube that they even defeated the Germans when they tried to colonize them. Would be nice to have a correct english translation of this Ethiopian Bible. The Bible is exactly what it is, a book written by human beings with intentions, one of which was to inform a small tribe of people how to live amongst other tribes. They were not dumb neither. They knew their secrets would fall into the hands of the tribes they lived amongst, so they put disinformation in it to misdirect and deceive those tribes. We read in Genesis for instance that Adam and Eve were in a Garden of Eden and God supposedly told them not to acquire Knowledge by eating the Fruit of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil "for in the day that the eat they shall surely die" and yet we know the Israelites thrive in their acquisition of knowledge and are one of the few nuclear energy nations. We also know Adam and Eve did not surely die on the day that they ate of the Fruit of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil and instead went on to live very long and productive lives that we are informed culminated in you yourself but we will lie to convince ourselves they did surely die on the day that they are of the Fruit of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil as if we do not know that it is its opposite, ignorance, that kills! Can we not see that we ourselves have placed Cherubims and a flaming sword which turned every way to keep ourselves away from Understanding? A God that keeps people away from the Tree of Life should not really be ones God I would think or is everything about Jesus not about Life? The Bible is not God. It is a book to be read. oaroloye: Mishigas, first, the above is all I bothered to read as I could not allow my senses to be any further abused. The Bible is a book, and just as you wouldn't believe a Physics book or Things Fall Apart, so too must you not believe the Bible, which if I correctly recollect, even you claimed was written by some people and not by God. Or was that not your recent claim about the King James Version? Christ is written to have said, "ask, knock and seek with all your heart and soul and mind and being", which is not what a believer would do, since they do not seem to know what it is they must ask, knock and seek. Such people remain ignorant and enslaved and naked in the Garden of Eden. If you simply believe without seeking understanding so that you may know you will end up trembling like a demon who spews lots of meaningless words! |
