Lagos To Decide Reopening Of Schools In Two Weeks by iwaeda(op): 5:15pm On Jun 04, 2020

The Lagos State Government says the decision to reopen schools in the state will be taken in two weeks.

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, said this during a televised press briefing on Thursday.

“In two weeks time, we would make a decision on the reopening of schools,” the governor said.

He also gave permission to all manufacturing companies to operate between 7am and 6pm.

This is as the governor announced that as from June 19 mosques will reopen, while churches can reopen as from June 21.

Some schools wanted to cash out by using 419 online learning to still collect school fees during lock down. Government should investigate those frauds. Good development but it is left for the ministry of education to decide not the Lagos State government. Though we need our schools to reopen urgently to curb increasing child molestation of the children and other negative effects of school closure. FG should reopen inster state movement but put strict meausre in place at all motor parks.

Las las, we may end up adapting to the new medical situation. COVID 19 defies prevention and cure, no wahala.

But luckily for we Black in Africa, it is a bit mild, compared to the western world with their cold environment. In Nigeria, admit an infected person, give him some malaria drugs for 2 weeks or thereabout, he is cured.
