We’ve been fighting the problem of payment into personal accounts for years now without success. Some are legitimate while lots are questionable. Hopefully, this OTP will help to put more spotlight on this source of funds leakage in the public service and push those making regulations guiding spending of public funds to do something about it.

There is even more that we are not aware of. They will only be exposed when a different government comes in. The only way to cover it is to rig the next election. But this can be checked if electronic voting is put in place before the next election. Nigeria should insist; no electronic voting, no election. And the results must be real time.
