Hi Everyone.I'm a new investor and a new user on Trove.I just funded my account in naira today but haven't decided on the stock(s) to buy yet.Kindly advise me,should I change my funds to dollar today or wait till Monday? Also,can I still buy some stocks today or wait till Monday?
N.B:I noticed that the exchange rate on Trove is higher than those of Bamboo and Chaka,is this okay?

trove allows you to buy fractional shares but robinhood is yet to do that which is kinda a bummer for us that use it if not i would have made a lot from tesla when it was still at 400usd
the downside of trove is that it charges you per share bought, so if you’re buying any stock you should be sure so you’ll not go and pay extra just to sell at the end and buy again

The exchange rate is high when you deposit so is it high when you withdraw. You really don't have too much choice if you don't personally earn fx. Please exchange and focus on the highlights here, if you make 40% no one cares even if you bought dollar at 470, you're still on profit.

This is getting confusing. Hahahaha, imagine, AAL with one of the worst balance sheets in the industry was the highest gainer for the day. 41.25% in just one trading day!!!. Is the cure for COVID-19 out? Any news about international flights resuming? I took the risk, and it paid off.

AAL balance sheet is very very bad. When I analyzed the US airlines AAL was selling for under $9 but my brother fear no allow me enter.
LUV has got better fundamentals and valuation, am surprised DAL took the lead.

We are witnessing some serious short squeeze in the airline stock mixed with FOMO. American Airlines (AAL), had 35% of its shares shorted just last month. As the stock price rises, those short sellers have no choice but to buy in to limit their loss. Who can blame them, when Buffet turns bearish the world listens, but a little old rookie like me kept saying buy the airlines, it is literally free money. Seriously, even call options I bought yesterday has more than doubled.
I want to create a watch list of the beaten down stocks like airlines, hotels, retailers, movie theaters, parks, mall operators etc that were really affected by the lockdown and have a very high short interest. If anyone has suggestions they can add please do.
