I just Bought this Refrigerator ( Hisense Product) today but it doesn't have external condenser and it's making the body of the refrigerator to be hot....

Am just not comfortable with it.

Please I need your Candid advise.....Does refrigerators with internal condensers last and How good is Hisense product(s) ?

@op, it’s okay I guess. Modern fridges do not have external condensers. That’s the reason why the body is hot when it’s trying to attain maximum cooling.

Was talked into buying it...It wasn't my initial plan.

But the remarks I have gotten so far have demoralized me.

I ain't comfortable with it anymore...will return it tomorrow and pick Haire Thermocool or Scanfrost

The back will definitely get hot when it's working. If it doesn't get hot, it means the condenser is not working properly and the compartments will not chill.

My neighbour bought one LG deep freezer like that and the freezer has cooling issues!

We bought ours and i ensured it had the external condenser! And it works like a charm.

You may decide to keep it but be prepared to buy external fan to blow the compressor cos it will get very hot while working which is what u are experiencing!

It's normal for one side of the fridge to get hot. No need worrying abt that. Bought mine - LG fridge with same design as yours, also has inbuilt condenser. Left side of the fridge is always hit when in use

These freezers these days na by Luck. I got the Haier Thermocool 145L and it hardly freezes. The outlet where I bought it from refuses to accept it on return. Till now, I just the use am like DAT. It takes 24hrs before water gets really cold which is hardly possible due to epileptic power supply

Op, please return it back, Hisense isn't a good product, go to their Facebook page and see for yourself how customers are complaining about the products, I am also a victim of their product, I bought curve tv from one of their showroom, the tv just went on blank within 6 months of useage, this people turned me for over two months telling me stories, last last I settled for an LG product, Hisense isn't a good product. forget about the price of the refrigerator.

Enjoy your refrigerator in peace. condenser are inbuilt in most of new product now. The condenser coils are located in the compressor housing instead of on the back, keeping them clean and functioning optimally. This design allows for more efficient airflow. Also place your refrigerator at where there is ventilation. In as much it's working fine you have no problem unless otherwise I will say u should return.

Ok bro...just wanna return it and pickup Haier Thermocool or Scanfrost....Am the Waka Waka type,I no dey stay one place,as such...I cook and refrigerate always and I heard dx particular product can't freeze for a long period of time

Thoo Haier Thermocool and Scanfrost are more expensive but I will like to go for one of it based on recommendation

You think the companies that still went ahead to put cooling fins at the back of fridge and deep freezers don't know what they are doing, abi?

My deep/chest freezer is haier thermocool. Its got the so called fan you are talking about and "also" black coated cooling fins at the back!

And i love it that way cos it gets the job done and fast!

And by the way, the body doesn't get hot!

U won't go wrong with that but whatever brand u finally settle for, ensure it has the cooling fins at the back to avoid stories that touch!

Then test it! Once its heating up, DO NOT BUY sir!

A good fridge or freezer does not need to heat up while working!

Ignore all these cooling engineers who are shouting upandan and buy what will give u peace of mind!

It's not about technologist. I am not disputing your claims. I already state one of the reasons it's inbuilt, also being inbuilt doesn'y mean it should make it hot, that's why I said if he feels it's isn't working well he should return it. I am simply against all those "without cooling fins at the back" cos i have got plenty of them all around where i stay! Eventually, an external fan is always recommended when they don't operate as expected.

You're not well informed. I am not after any brand or supporting any brand. I have haeir thermocool 100litre freezer and LG refrigerator that I have been using for years both used external condenser and I have both change the condenser. so you have no point

Just coming out from that shop,I have returned the Hisense fridge I bought yesterday.

Went there with my neighbor and we placed order for the type that he is using currently.(Haier Thermocool product)

Once the man delivers that one....I will let you all know.
