You're lucky. Your car is 5w30 only and doesn't require synthetic though because of it's age it might benefit from it. Problem is what they've been using before is 20w50 and may have already damaged the engine. You can try one oil change with conventional 5w30 and see if it shorts oil. If it does, go back to 20w50 and when you have the money get the engine rebuilt. If it doesn't, continue using 5w30 and if you want, synthetic.

Good day I have gone through your comment and I see you are knowledgeable. Please I use a Toyota Camry pencil light and my mechanic said I should get forte oil visco 2000 for servicing that it's better than green oil that I have been using. Please boss is visco 2000 truly good and suitable for Toyota Camry pencil light 4cylinders engine? I await your response thanks

no. forte oil visco 2000 is 20w50. Please check your fuel cap or manual for the correct oil. It is most likely 5w30. As long as you get the correct weight, brand is less important. The only exception is if you've been using the wrong oil so long that your engine is sludged. If that's the case, best to just continue until the engine gives out
