Corona virus is a scam in Nigeria. Some people refused to figure that out . South Africans are even accusing their government on the same issue.

We are very selfish and wicked in Africa. Walai

I totally agree with you.

But the only thing that keeps baffling me is the question on how our so called "leaders" are benefitting from the COVID19 SCAMdemic?

Care to explain, please?

You know in Nigeria we take advantage of every situation to help ourselves even at the detriment of others.

How will our leaders recieve Covid-19 grants from WHO and other NGOs to be pocketed as with other aids if we they don't make sure Covid-19 is propagated in the country and announced to the world?

I've always said this to people who care to listen. Covid-19 is nothing but glorified and over hyped version of the normal flu and fever most of us in this region are used to.

I remember sometime last year when a man from Greece came to visit my boss and he was lodged in a hotel in Abuja. The white man became adventurous and damned every warning not to go out. He loves strolling out in the evenings to enjoy the scenery of Abuja.

Two weeks after he return to Greece he caught fever, thanks to mosquitoes here. Now the news is, because they had no fever in their country, they had no drugs for it. The man was hospitalized and shifted from one hospital to another as they used him for experiment. You won't believe my boss had to ship some malaria drugs from here for his treatment and within a week he was back to his feet.

When Covid-19 came, I quickly understood that if this had started in Africa where we are used to it, and already have drugs we use for malaria, it wouldn't have been glorified the way the whites did it.

The good part is our leaders know the cure and that we can deal with it, but because of greed they want to keep Covid-19 alive in Nigeria, no wonder they forced it on Kogi by every means.
My man you've said it all. Corona virus is a glorified malaria in Africa.
If malaria is conducted on Covid-19 patients , I'm very optimistic that all of them will test positive for Malaria

Most covid patients would be asymptomatic, some would have mild disease, and some would have very severe disease.

That they were isolated is to keep the number of those with severe disease low. Because if left unchecked, those with severe disease could overwhelm all available hospital beds.

Plus, catching covid can be bad for certain groups of people...the aged, those with diabetes, hypertension, obesity, other respiratory illnesses, and it could affect children badly. And even then, you can be physically fit, and still get severely sick (one of the first in the US to die was a very fit 40 year oldf male who obviously spent time exercising, and eating a healthy diet, yet he died) Best to be cautious.

That one is asymptomatic, and may be asymptomatic does not mean that same person won't spread the illness to anyone...and that the people he spreads it too could fall severely ill.

ElRufai was asymptomatic. He was isolated 'early' yet he had spread the disease to 4 people within a few days.
Oga we don hear Can we please move on

It's just speculations!

If world bodies like WHO makes such a donation, I believe they will have to announce it somewhere, or don't you think so?

It's ok lagos can now send some patients there because we cannot leave the building to collapse just that considering the amount spent on it.

Is this news for real?
If so it means those calling us ignorance because we disagreed with them that covid19 was covid419 need to apologize to us.
I don't think God should forgive those that brought the idea of locking Lagos down for good 5 weeks.
So many family bread winners have lost their sources of their incomes because few selfish and wicked health personnel and politicians.
All for their selfish gain.
My question is, how comes they discharged all patients one time...

Borno and Taraba states did same thing, this people are funny.

No it isn't.

The fact that the government is taking it serious should be a sign...especially as it affected the elite disproportionately.

Also, the economic shutdown affects government more badly. Less money to chop. Sure, they get money for covid treatment support, but it is far less than the money they would have gotten if there was no crisis in the first place.

Nigeria is a corrupt nation, but even in matters like this, we have to be serious too. Especially when the first victims include a high number of highly ranked government officials.
What is this one saying...
