Ize Iyamu lost a golden opportunity by decamping to the ruling party. I guess all politicians dread loyalty but would force it down others throat.
Another eight years of Ize Iyamu would only side line Edo Central, who have been on the waiting wing.

Oshiomole will distort the political harmony which already exists in the state. I guess a certain party is known for this.

oga u are actually talking about an election in which I took an active part. osho sold the party ticket to a deacmpee pdp senator even though urhoghide has been a loyal party man even before apc won the governorship election, this prompted his decamping to pdp and being a popular candidate, he won the incumbent who had decamped to acn.
even if osho stands for an election himself now, he will surely not win Edo South.

Last election I was in Edo Coke Cola plant I tell you situation on ground PDP won but abracadabra of INEc and ABUJA did let that happen.

In the street, people could be heard saying as of that time Oshiomole APC rigged the election.

That is how election works in this country... Bello rigged heavily in KOGI to win.. If obaseki thinks the people wish will get him in power, his egungun will reach express!!

What did he (oshiomhole) want? No body is blaming the governor for under performing. The only words from his supporters are, Obaseki fighting oshiomhole. And I ask, how exactly is he fighting oshiomhole? Will your uncle walk into your father's house and walk you out to bring his son to inherit your father's house and you obey because is your uncle.

before oshiomhole finished his second term as a governor he has already been earmarked for the position he currently occupies, saying obaseki supported him to be APC chairman is trash talk, despite their differences oshiomhole made sure he made obaseki the deputy chairman of progressives governors forum, a position that was already slotted for another state, talking about performance, I stand to be corrected, obaseki is the worse performing APC governor in this current dispensation, if you want to argue I dare you to list obasekis achievements as a governor and I will list yahaya bello's achievement in his first term for you to compare and contrast.

Stop calling rigging winning an election.

The only thing that can save Obaseki is his performance nothing else. Ize-Iyamu is a candidate too strong for Obaseki to contend with if not for Oshiomhole's strong support back then.

How many senators from PDP are from Edo state. What is playing out in Edo is somehow similar to what happened in Akwa Ibom state. It was state verses federal government in Akwa Ibom but in Edo definitely Obaseki will have the ear of federal might even if he defects to PDP.
