Doubt this means much. Career growth means promotion and hence responsibilities. Depends so much on department, team, politics, and the people you work with NOT so much the organization: your luck of the draw. ALL government jobs aren't exactly "growth" jobs. It is beyond your control. Even small gov agencies with little bureaucracy aren't growth jobs because people hardly leave. If you want growth, go work in the private sector, but they churn people like crazy there. The high turnover is also why it's a growth job. People leaving means space for promotion. Get work first before you start worrying about career growth

With the above, it will be quite difficult for agencies outside Health and Security to undertake recruitment exercise at this moment, even revenue generating agencies who are not under IPPIS are very cautious of recruiting, as being caught will lead to sanction from the C-in-C himself. Even those who were recruited before the afformentioned date will have to show and prove beyond doubt that they have been recruited befor then, before they can be captured on IPPIS.

I like the strength and courage people who are trying day in day out to secure a job, as within my capacity and capability, I can only give information on recruitment or guidance on how to lobby a way out, which some who have found credibility in it can testify to it.

Though the FG might not announce the lifting of embargo but I will update you when recruitment is getting back to lime light. With the composition of Federal Character Commission member, recruitment will be going bro another level naw.

I'm asking based on the fact that INEC is bent on carrying out Edo/Ondo Elections & some others parts of the country and also the Chairman stated the need for ad-hoc staff without referring to the last recruitment.
