Nobody used the word begging but you actually hit it spot on with that word, the governor and mayor are literally begging Trump to send them $55 million from already appropriated FEMA allocations. Others are suggesting that Trump declare an emergency so that emergency funds can be used. They are begging Trump to help them. I repeat, they shouldn't get a penny. Unless the mayor is going to Congress to get them to approve other funds for him, he needs Trump to assist him with already appropriated federal funds. I asked you why were your governors running to Trump at the white house for assistance with the coronavirus epidemic if they don't need him to get funds? Even the governor of California is on record thanking Trump for helping his state during the epidemic. Why thank Trump for something he has no power to give according to you? Some of the cities in America appropriate one third of their budget for police depts. Cutting some of it down for things like mental health, education or other social services that eliminates crime and potential crimes to be committed is what they meant by defunding the police.
