Good morning mothers of future Presidents and Governors.
Please my baby will be 6 months on 26th of this month, I have introduced Friso gold to him this last Tuesday which was on 2nd. Although we didn't do EBF, we were on SMA gold and breast milk before. But for over a week now even before I changed his food his poo is dark green and musty not watery anyway, a friend said it's because he's teething but I'm becoming uncomfortable with it.
Please experienced mothers should enlighten me, I'm a FTM.

I av used bagon flit to flit the house earlier and she's wearing covered clothing, she's not having any fever and we usually sleep inside mosquito net. I just don't know what is causing the itching.

Sounds like hives or allergies. You need to isolate the cause. Pls don't give her palm oil, antihistamines can help with the itching.

Good day mamas, Please i have an issue bothering me o, my almost 3weeks old baby had jaundice @ birth which was treated and there was improvement in her cos she started eating well, poo and urinate well, my mom came yesterday and complain there is still d yellow colouration in her skin though her eyeball is now very clear, i think i will return her back to hospital tomorrow or does it take time for d yellow colouration to clear? Please make una help torch light dis matter

Since you are giving your baby formula, he must drink water

Formula fed babies NEED to drink water. Come to think of it, you use water to make the formula right? . Water will also help baby not to be constipated from the formula.

You can give glucose water if that makes you more comfortable.

You can take her to the hospital and check her SB level just to be sure. I don't know about the skin but i know the eyes takes time to clear. It clears gradually even after treatment is completed

you might have to wait for her to grow more. Teach her it's bad to bite tho. My son is almost 3,still does all of these except the biting tho

Yes pls you must give water very well to avoid constipation.

I went to get my baby's birth certificate from festac local government, the person on seat insisted i get the health centre vaccine/immunization card and that i should start using the health centre because its recognized. Other mothers there affirmed to it too that thats what people are doing now, and that private hospitals won't tell me this because they want to make their money. Please is this true? Im currently using Havana specialist hospital under HMO, please is it recognized?

2. My baby is due for his 10th week vaccine, if i have to start using the health centre please do you know how much for these vaccines?

2. Some health centres give all free except for rotavirus. I think some still give freely in Lagos. You can't spend more than 500naira for the others.

Palm oil actually has antihistamine properties ! Check google
