I thought one northern state alone(Jigawa) discharged 222 patients... Why 81 total ?
thank you, same that happened when sokoto discharged 101. NDDC doesn't want coro to end they've been manipulating figures long time.

Opportunity comes but once, they need to make money.

Ahhh...I'm just tired!

Just what was the use of the national lockdown we had, other countries still benefited from their lockdown.
Cases are just increasing with or without lockdown in Nigeria!

Abia topped yesterday! What happened today? No tests?

I'm losing my mind, I want to go back to school!

Even to get a menial job (my June out-of-school plan) to pass day time is difficult, I gave up today. I pity breadwinners that lost jobs, some families and especially private school teachers!
. you just beginning to reason fine now, when we say that this guys are gambling with millions of futures it's seems to people like you as if we are not been reasonable.

It will still rise.
I was somewhere in ladipo last week and queued up at an ATM to get some cash.
Somehow, began a conversation with one muscle strong-headed, trader guy. Those kind people that when they are arguing, they will be sweating and using handkerchief to clean the sweat
Guy was proving up and down, "Nothing dey. Na lie, There's no virus. Government dey chop money".
There was no convincing this guy.
Even the boy that followed me to collect his money at the ATM didn't wear mask.
Kids in the market are not wearing mask. They're just carrying this thing round and round and spreading to elderly ones who will show the signs
I have not seen ONE market kid with face mask or doing social distancing.

Please this is becoming a Joke. Corona is in Nigeria, that's no doubt. But Jigawa claimed they discharged 222 patients yesterday, why weren't they added to the discharge figure for yesterday, or is there something I'm not understanding?

Lack of sincerity on the part of our government remains a clog in the fight against this pandemic in Nigeria.
Except there is a total lockdown for at least 2 to 3 months, worst is yet to come.
How can we have a lockdown in a failed system like ours?
Just a few weeks of lockdown, govt was busy announcing audio money distribution to Nigerians.
You are contradicting yourself sir, in one word, you accept total lockdown as a solution, in another word, you disagree with total lockdown because Nigeria Government is corrupt. Where is your stand sir? Are you a chameleon?

Oga you too like to argue, NCDC does not control the labs, state govt does, state govt builds it, pay workers and everything... NCDC only train those workers.

That is what a nation gets for having a yam head as her president. Nigeria is paying for the ineptitude of Buhari. He is indecisive and inept. Was the lockdown really effective in Nigeria despite the president's pre-recorded 'live broadcast'? Didn't some states do as they wished (including holding Jumaat prayers) during the lockdown?

As we speak now, Buhari is still confused and doesn't know what to do next with KOVIK one nine. He relies on the advice of the Boss Mustapha-led team to know what next to do. Unfortunately, his unimpressive team mates are thinking more about COVID 19 money than the health and economic prospects of Nigerians.

Interesting. In other words NCDC does not interface at all with patients, right? So NCDC just runs the errands or simply collate data and report? More clarifications please, because if that is how it works there are chances of witnessing ghost patients, and you think that is possible? To achieve what ultimately?
.
Patients are seen by doctors recruited by each state. NCDC is a research institute so they recommend drugs and follow up on outcome of patients and collate data.

Don't act ignorant, I was only referring to Edo when I stated they may be generating untrue positive cases which is even just a speculation. Edo is peculiar because the governor is fighting for direct gubernatorial primary election not to hold, he can support this notion with high Covid-19 cases in the state that will discourage mass gathering. However, it is just a speculation.

Without the lockdown, there are high chances of an astronomical surge that would get our hospitals and healthcare workers overwhelmed. In my own perspective, to avoid total economic collapse, I think the Federal Government should implement an optional lockdown in addition to proper social and physical distancing, especially for those with increased risk of infections and mortality such as the elderly and those with underlying health conditions.

In Kogi State, one hundred and eleven people have been successfully tested . In which all results have recorded negative. All over Kogi State, the government has focused more on sensitization programme to create awareness about the pandemic. They also teach the people of Kogi State the precautionary measures to take in order to avoid the spread of the disease, and this has yielded tremendous results.
