Please, this might seem like a rookie question, but how do I know where my application is being processed?
I tracked mine vfs website and saw that it has been transferred to Abuja. But I don’t know how one can be sure if it is in Dublin

Good news !!!

Mail received just now from Ireland:

Colleagues,

Just a quick email to update you on our plans to resume visa services. You will be aware that since the outbreak of COVID-19, we have suspended the acceptance of all visa applications globally, with the exception of certain priority/emergency visas as identified on our website.

Notwithstanding restrictions still in place locally, it is our intention to resume the acceptance of visa applications, through our commercial partner, VFS, in the seven locations overseas where we have visa offices, as well as in our Dublin office from Monday 22nd June. Our seven visa offices overseas are based in China, India, UAE, Turkey, Nigeria, Russia and the UK. There are still restrictions in place in some of these countries, so where it isn’t possible to resume from the 22nd June, we intend to resume accepting visa applications as soon as is possible thereafter. The initial resumption of services may also be on a limited basis in certain locations – for example, in China, only four of the fifteen Visa Application Centres (VACs) will be allowed to open initially and in Turkey and elsewhere, initial opening hours may be limited.

In all other locations, the resumption of services will be at the discretion of our colleagues in Department of Foreign Affairs & Trade (DFAT), as visas in those locations are processed by DFAT staff in the mission network. Our understanding is that they hope to resume services as soon as local restrictions allow them to do so.

During the initial phase of re-opening, we will only be accepting Long Stay “D” visa applications, including Study, as well as those identified under our current criteria as Emergency/Priority Short Stay visas.

There are also contingency plans in place to process applications in our Dublin office should the situation on the ground in other locations prevent us doing so there.
I'm sure my visa would be approved God's grace.

Hi, please I made a payment of 12035euros for my tution fee and 21.22euros was even charged as bank charges.
But wen GC sent my receipt 12015euros was stated as amount paid.

Hope this won't be a red flag during Visa application??

It Shouldn't, Since you expected to pay a minimum of 70% by the embassy
Re: GENERAL Irish (student)visa & Work Permit-New THREAD*** by DammyDurst(m): 7:00pm On Jun 07, 2020
Hi, didn't you use Form A in making the payment? Because usually the bank takes out the exchange in Naira from your account.

...and I want to believe that over 70% of your total tuition fee.

I got a scholarship to study Artificial Intelligence in Lyit.
Still not sure if to proceed or wait for feedback from schools in Dublin.
Please advise is welcome; cost of living, work opportunities, etc
Please bro, what % of scholarship did you get. How much tuition fees are paying after the scholarship?

Is not a red flag, but the school will ask you to pay the remain, even if it’s 1 euro. You might not necessarily pay it from Nigeria but when you reach Ireland prepare their euro(s) To give them.

Congratulations! I'm so happy for you, it was really a long wait. Don't worry international flights should resume soon, we are in stage 2 of the lockdown reopening and the reopening calender has been moved forward by a month from mid August to mid July. Flights across Europe are scheduled to resume from 1st of July I'm sure Africa and Nigeria will plan based on that. It's so good to finally know that you will be reunited with your wife soon, it's only a matter of time. Congratulations once again and welcome to Ireland.

It is a "join family visa". I guess some people's application has taken more than two years. Because as at last year July my AVATS number is around the 41****** range, and shortly before embassy closure the number was at 45****** but as at yesterday I still saw some visa decision uploaded yesterday with 30****** range of AVATS.

My statement of account is not up to 6months but will be 4months when I would be applying for my visa. But my sponsors statement of account is up to 6months?

Please gurus in the house, hope this wouldn't affect my visa?
