Inec is gradually airing out their frustration for APC to insist on direct election which they feel is not safe for the state. Some people cannot read in between lines. They are shouting Obaseki is gone. It is just a subtle way of saying we are not comfortable with APC stands of direct mode of primaries |

jaxxy:Same Obaseki told President Buhari he has done over 300,000 tests and the State is safe! Same Obaseki using fake Ceritifcates? https://www.nairaland.com/5914288/pressure-mounts-apc-disqualify-obaseki Las las, he will be disqualified by his party so that they dont repeat the Zamfara and Bayelsa problem ![]() Among the inconsistencies cited in Obaseki’s certificates are that his O/Level results showed that he has three credits but despite that he spent only three years to allegedly bagged a Bachelor of Arts degree in Classical Studies from the University of Ibadan, Ibadan, in 1976, without an A/Level result. All these certificate Forgers trying to rule us by force sef! ![]() |

bottlewater1:I have one question for you and I want you to be honest about it. Did the APC and by by extension Oshiomhole choose the direct mode for democracy to work? |

uthor=bottlewater1 post=90493004]the guy above need to be Isolated. unless If you can explain what you mean by edolite should reject APC. Now sit down let me lecture you. 1. although there are 15 political parties that registered with INEC but I can tell you there are just two parties in edo state APC and others. if not why should pastor leave PDP for APC and obaseki refused to decamp despite the fact that he will not get the ticket. 2. did you know why other parties choose indirect, it is simply because that they have no viable candidate so they will just try and patch people together and push them yet they will loose to APC 3. if you want democracy to work in Nigeria, political parties have to be structured first. I don't like APC at all but I can tell you that they are working on achieving this at present than any political party in Nigeria. oshiomole played obaseki so that he can fight the party and it's simple the party is fighting back. so sir don't because of pity for obaseki and hatred for oshiomole not say the truth. 4. if Godwin obaseki has done very well as a governor and he deserve another tenure there is nothing to be afraid of now. akeredolu of ondo state lists 50 achievement in 4 years and he said he is not afraid of direct or indirect primary,. why is obaseki afraid. 5. I would love another person aside pastor and obaseki to be the next governor as you can see the two of them remain the top most choice of the state. This shows our porous the leadership growth of the state is. I arrest my case.
Thank you for this post, you deserve an award. |

Those with working IQ can will never accept PDP. That party is a taboo in Edo state. Whoever emerge as the flagbearer of APC will eventually become the Governor to continue on the good work Oshiomole led administration has done. PDP might be the Messiah in ur state but in Edo, they are cancer that has been removed and doctor has advised us on how not to let it resurface. Thank you boss. quote author=CANDYDADDY post=90493002]. I reject APC for you EDOlite in advance Am referring to those that have conscience and a working IQ
|

moderatedguy:oshomole has already Derek obaseki and obaseki can't breath again. Because NEC don't conduct screening, is NWC that screen candidate. Ingrate obaseki should go back to school and error for GCE and jamb for proper admission into uniben |

Great2017:sir God bless you for the question Nigeria politics is very very very intertwine with so many factors. since Independence politics in this country is for personal gain and of course that is what politics is all about. let me tell you why democracy works in the developed countries like America they go into politics to protect their wealth not like us in Nigeria that go into politics to make wealth or steal funds or without any purpose than to taste power we need more people like oyo state governor both at the state and federal level irrespective of the party then politics will be shaping towards democracy for all. what is happening now in the country if you will agree with me people are participating in the politics more than before who knows by 2023 any form of political system will be for the purpose of democracy so it'll put pressure on all political parties and political leaders to channel politics towards true democracy. |

| Re: Edo Primaries: INEC Releases Update by Clevite(m): 12:25pm On Jun 10, 2020 |
ddippset:You forgot to add this: In indirect primaries, delegates are wooed with money by money-bag aspirants and then camped in hotels so as to prevent them from being bought over by higher-bidding aspirants, sometimes for as long as a week before the primary election day. They are then moved en mass from hiding to election venue on the D-day. Others who are not camped do lodge in their hundreds and thousands at various hotels around the State Capital days before the election. With these scenarios associated with indirect primary, social contacts are multiple and uncontrollable. Transmission is therefore highly unavoidable. This is unlike direct primary where members will only have to come out of their houses on election day and do not have to camp or assemble at any place days before. Social contact is very minimal and chances of transmission highly reduced, if not unlikely. |
