Took a rider to Alagomeji yesterday and the person she went to see there refused to pick up the phone hence she changed destination back to where I picked her up.

Got back to the place and ride ended at 3800 n she explained to me that she doesnt have enough money since she thought she will meet the person there, I understood so she sent me only 2k n said I should leave a report so the balance will be in her account on her next ride, normal thing. Leave report finish this morning saw uber's response and they are refusing to pay me saying jagons up n down.

I sent a text to the rider notifying her that uber has refused to pay me which means that money wont be put into your account, that I will be heading to her place this morning if need be because I cannot lose on both ends, told uber the exact Same thing that I have contacted the rider politely via text requesting for my money since they have refused to pay me. Meanwhile the rider messed my car up with food n fanta as in really messed my back sit up oo. Even reported my car being messed up by rider and took pictures and sent to them, them say make I send them receipt of cleaners with date corresponding I I de laugh say these people must really think Nigerians dont have hands to clean their own ish.

In other words any uber ride you go on and the person refuses to pay the complete fare make sure you collect your money cos uber seems to not be paying for those kinds of things anymore.

From now on no more being nice to riders at all, before I de pick the ones wey I de de nice to depending on the energy they bring, but from now on no more Mr nice guy.

Picked up two ladies yesterday too, the one that ordered when I got to their street I called her cos the map say I don reach where them de, didnt realize they were just a few meters in front, as I call na so she just de shout one tin one tin and by the time i drove closer to them when she saw the look I gave her immediately I asked her madam why were you chatting shit over the phone? Would I have flew over the cars in front of me to get to your PU location earlier she wan de talk one tin one tin na him I tell am day madam pls just keep quiet meanwhile the one for front don already de beg me say make I no vex. That girl didnt say one word again till we got to their destination I just jeje give am 1 star report am for the app straight

Uber and this their useless policy, One day someone will come and mess up my car with Amala , ewedu and gbegiri, And they will expect me to keep quiet. This is Nigeria not America They are operating stupid policies in a country where people are dirty, mannerless and uncivil
I so much detest riders eating in my car, i don't allow that nonsense. Food particles breeds small Cockroaches and it is very disgusting. And once they start laying eggs in the car, to curtail it with insecticide will be very difficult. Imagine you on a trip with a rider, all of a sudden cockroach comes out on your dashboard dancing Zanku and skelewu grin or crawling on the riders body. Thats a sign of dirtness and a big fat 1 Star. It could even make you lose a regular offline customer. I keep saying it, BOLT is a perfect ehailing app for Nigeria business environment. You are incontrol of your of business to an extent. For the fact you are paying for my service doesn't give you the right to mess up my Car, it is my office and my duty is always to ensure is clean and other riders can enjoy using it.

Guys always collect ur money complete from Uber riders. This corona has affected their revenue. End trip on Sunday N400. Rider was trying transfer and wasting my time on top N400. Bolt request came in to ikeja from lekki. Told rider not to worry she will pay to next driver. Reported to Uber at night, Uber mail me next day morning that I’m responsible to collect my money completely. No more paying for rider and I didn’t save the lady’s number. I just free the money. Thank God it’s N400.

Good morning famz, I will like to discuss issues I have regularly in my workshop of recent.
The main issue most people deal with now is transmission issues which cut across most brands; Toyota, Honda, Hyundai just those for now...

When you start having issues the first step you take is check yourself?
When was the last time as a car owner have you done Servicing to the tranny system?
Then you check the the oil to see the color, if it is anything apart from pink like, then just know you are going for a tranny Servicing.
Next are the valve and solenoid; the harness or open circuit and complete change of the solenoid.
If you are doing a complete Servicing then you change the filter in most of these vehicles.

But in a case the Torque Converter is affected you are Changing the transmission system completely.

Don't continue to service what is not going to last long. Spend money on geniue parts and not managing the issues.

Thanks

CBD officials grin Their craze pass lastma own. Thank God they didn’t hold you. Always end trip like 300-500 meters away from drop off around that area, before you stop to park, signal to any CBD official around you that you need to quickly drop off your passengers, they’ll let you. But don’t waste time and don’t trust them still. Always be at alert!!!

I just witnessed a truck destroying a Toyota Camry (most likely to be Uber) at ogolonto b/stop ikorodu.
The driver's side tyre and vender destroyed.
The guy was trying to block the trailer and some soldiers around were ready to help him but unfortunately for the driver of the red lagbus bus I entered started shouting that the Camry driver was at fault and the Naval soldier in the bus testified to it and talked to the soldiers to free the Trailer.
I felt so bad for the action of the lagbus driver and shouted, "oga go drop us àbí wetin be your own".
I pity the Camry driver cos the damage was just too much at this Corona period.. But thank God for his life.

It seem you like working on the mainland.
I live on the mainland but prefer doing trips within Ikoyi and sangotedo axis. The peace of mind that comes with it is unexplainable.

P:S : If anyone here has a partner giving out cars (Honda civic/Kia Rio/Elantra) for rentals, please recommend me. I have sold my Ford Mondeo so i need something to keep me busy for few months.
I spoke with the contacts dropped on this thread and their expectations are unrealistic.
