I keep seeing some monikers tagging those against Transsion's mediocrity as Xiaomi marketers.

I doubt that, cos I am very sure that 98% of those rooting for Xiaomi are aggrieved users of Transsion below par devices.

I happened to be one of them cos I thought Infinix was the best to ever happen in mobile phone sector (Samsung, Huawei & Apple excluded) until a fellow Transsion user who was aggrieved voiced his compliants when we were given forms to fill in our Infinix WhatsApp group to state the problems we are facing while using Transsion devices. He went ahead to tell us how he researched and saw that Transsion is backwards in terms of innovations. He made mention of how far Realme & Xiaomi are far ahead.

They tried to shut him down with a threat of being removed from the group. Baba happily obliged them o.

I followed suit on my own research and saw that I have been inside a dome all the time I have been using Transsion devices.

I understand your viewpoint and your pain...Now if you check..Transsion phones as you earlier mentioned are mostly sold in Africa and South Asian countries (like India/Afghanistan/Maidives etc) Now look at these countries and you will notice, these are 3rd world countries...Now,it's not that these phones cannot be pushed out..But am sorry to say.., Our country is a 3rd worldcountry..if 4th de sef..na dia we dey,and looking at the economic wise and the pocket of people in these countries... These where the factors considered and exploited to dominate the country with their substandard products.., although it's of good reckoning that those other good phones like Apple /Samsung and the rest are sold in this country, to show we de among. so now the only way these guys can leave is by upping our status as a country/working on our importation of goods into the country and also upping the standards(+an effective SON)

We are a consuming country.. Although it we had a phone produced here in Nigeria,.sure u urself will tag that phone as substandard.

Shut up. They aren't substandard. There is virtually no market for them. If u order for them on Amazon or WISH, they will be delivered right to your doorstep. I dont know why what white people use is a standard to measure ourlives. There is no market for them shikena.

My last infinix phone was 5years ago when I discovered that infinix and tecno have been cheating on us they give us battery because they know our power problem in the country and every other thing is inferior (memory, processor, storage,) with high price. When you compare infinix and tecno with Chinese phone like(Elephone, Ulefone, Umidigi, homtom etc) you will understand what am talking about for example the new tecno camon 15 does not have anything to compare with Umidigi x3 both in battery performance, camera charging processor built storage etc and its way more expensive. I wonder why they will be producing phones of 2gb ram 16/32gb storage in 2020 and still sell for 45-50k no USB c port, no Amoled display no storage.... Just washed clear pix and battery to deceive you.

Chairman! we dey use the Tecno, infinix and itel phone not because we too like them....but because when they are pocket friendly...easy to repair..and they let us taste a bit of what other phones have like portrait, bokeh, pop up camera's etc....as my pocket never large now..Tecno na my best friend, in the future maybe I fit use Samsung or iphone...but I no go dey broke now come hustle money wey Dem fit use dig borehole use buy phone ooo

you are right. When I was using xiaomi there was always this urge in me to tell the world what they are loosing out on especially Nigerians and it was a budget one for that matter. Imagine a flagship xiaomi like mi max etc although I’m on iPhone now but xiaomi is really value for money. After what camon 11 pro did to me I sold it off even as new as it was. I was once a lover of tecno and infinix, i started seeing how transsion has been decieving us with their mediocre product when i got my first gionee device, gionee m5 then.
I once sold a used Redmi 5 plus to a guy here on nairaland. This guy use to be transsion user, after a year the guy still thanking me. Here is a screenshot below

The bottomline is when a product is good it advertises itself

quality products don’t need advertising, their users simply do it for them and that’s why apple don’t do ads. The moment Samsung started advertising their A and M series I knew they would be trash. The only reliable Samsung is the Sseries.
