Did anyone ever asked you to come to the airport? Do you actually know the location of the airport? Mentioning Kogi means you don't even know where Umueri is located. Face the news of your fat incompetent governor in Abia that couldn't build any decent hospital in Abia state, now he is in Abuja for treatment
hahahaha I am more an Anambra than osu like you... both my parents are from there even all my ancestors are from Anambra... Just chew the truth Anu ofia tongue

This airport geographical location will not add any value, it situated in a remote hinterland village between Anambra and kogi, I prefer to head Lagos than to go there, oba international cargo would've been much better... But they killed the dream

No true Igbo should mind spending a bit extra or having an extension to his trip to enable him patronise a int’l airport in Alaigbo! When AIIA Enugu was serving Ethiopia airline, i used to go out of my way to patronise them just so i could land at Enugu!

. There is no gain hating any one ok. Look at the first comment on this thread by "thatfairguy" and you will realize that you have absolutely no reason or gain in hating anyone. If go through my comments, you will realize that I hate tribalism and Nairaland is really not helping Nigeria after all the rules here, thank you.

You are not making any sense. Tax payer? Show us the evidence of your tax payment in Anambra or shut up because you have nothing reasonable to say.

If there's any state at all that needs an airport in the eastern region, it is Anambra. Anambra have low, medium and heavy income earning businesses and industrial complexes, so any business chooses what's good for them.

Time is money and the real big businessmen and industrialists cannot do without aviation services. That's why Lagos has remained Nigeria's economic melting point due to direct access to the world.
Funny you
Everything shouldn't be a fight but a rational debate to ensure the best & cost-effective practice is executed
Wanna see my tax proof?
Send me an authentic organizational email and I'll send it to you.
This isn't just an aiport but also a cargo airport
What happened at the Oba airport project?
Why start another one?
Bros/Sis, this project is a white elephant project

Take your advise to your own state. It is what we need in Anambra at this time and we are getting it done.

Face your state and leave us to build what we need for the benefit of our people and friends.

Useless frustrated bitter fellow. I know how painful this news is to you right now. Very soon that motor park you call airport in Imo state will be converted to warehouses for yam barns, so that Imo people can use decent worldclass airport for once in their lives. cheesy

Oga I'm from Anambra and it's just my opinion as a bonafide taxpayer
Bros, the Anambra economy is largely built on average income businesses & these businesses find ways to cut costs and this ain't part of it?
There's an airport at Asaba & Enugu but do you know that most abroad returnees still prefer to take the road than fly most times?
It's safer, cost effective and more sustainable

you are not making any sense whatsoever......!

Till date, I've not made out the necessity of this project which will definitely be abandoned by the next Govs
Why not invest in cargo and passenger rail then connect with the national rail system?
How many of the common Anambratians can fund cargo flights for their goods?
But with rail, there'll be reduced accidents, cost, etc

let's wait till 10 years before we can make conclusion on its viability.

Good one pls let the southeast governors joins hands together to make sure that this project is completed

Lol, you're very funny. Imo state has airport. Enugu state has airport. Ebonyi state is building their own airport. Abia state is building their own airport. Yet you want all South East governors to join hands in building Anambra state airport?

How does such statement make sense to you.
