A Corp member was posted to my office last year, she told me she studied Nursing in a university in Ghana,I asked her to tell me the name of the university. My people, the images from this school is the equivalent to that of our Colleges of education. The school cannot even match our federal polytechnics.I was like is this the school you spent your father's hard earned money on? She confessed that its because she can't get admission in a Nigerian university that made her try those "Foreign Schools" grin

Same circular concept with ABSU. Even the faculty of law. Same plan with ABSU old faculty of law front view the school is not bad but I bet you ABSU is way beautiful than this school in terms of greenery and landscape plan. cheesy

Nigeria has over 200 Million population, meaning about 7 times the size of Ghana.
So calculate Ghana's number of Universities by 7 and compare to the number of Universities in Nigeria and see if your country has ''so many Universities'' as you think?

Young man wake up from your slumber, this is reality and not some baseless assumption... I should come and do invincible calculations for you when I'am not yet mad...

Nigerians, see the name. See the buildings.

It was a curse to have place a whole university of Nigeria in the curse landlocked South East....

Shame on azikwe for putting such a national institution in a land locked region.. Barren land.....

See UNN. They will tell u that the east is full of Gold, the streets are tiled in silver n diamonds, yet their fathers and them want to die in lagos and ibadan.... They only go home to see their grandparents on festive period....

Erosion has finished their lands...... They will never go home again coz no one wanted to stay in a cursed region.

Most of their celebrities graduated from Unilag, OAU, uni of ibadan bcox unn is not habitable for someone with a bright future..

UNN is a trash school.. Shame on proeast lzaa imhotep gwafaeziokwu AhoadaRivers pazienza paxie55 labdna smoke55...

Cc: benevento helinues kinematics Top1gun derox

Shame on ur national university managed by Igbos........

Mr.Tribalism, the difference lies in the government of the two countries priority in Educational infrastructure, they are both controlled by her respective governments so channel your insult to Nigeria Government that neglected UNN over the years.

You are wrong,
KNUST was ranked the best in West Africa last year 2019. https://yen.com.gh/137451-knust-ranked-university-west-africa-by-us-news-world-report.html
And it has consistently been ranked higher in Africa

1--ASHESI UNIVERSITY
2--UPSA and
3--UG have always been among the first 10 best Universities by UN SDG ranking

It was ranked by Yen.com. This is not a credible ranking

Most of you joining the bandwagon. If the first few posters had rubbished this university, many of you would do same.

These are mostly drone pictures and what I see can't even stand with OAU in comparison. Oau beats this school in buildings. The environment and flowers aren't even as beautiful as OAU.

If you had grown up in the village, you would've become a very envious native doctor.

What kind of hatred, envy and jealous is this.

My friend don't laugh because you are disgracing yourself.
How can you live in a Country and there is ''no count'' of the number of Schools in your country?
Are you disgracing Nigeria or what? that your Country don't have the list of Accredited institutions in your country?chaii, this is embarrasing.

well I don't know if I should laugh at your ignorance or educate your cranium a little, well... You can keep jumping into conclusion

Thank God they didn't even gimme admission into their school.may be its because their buildings are ugly.

Wrote their jamb three times and they didn't gimme admission. Went to poly.

University my black ass!! Okada riders too attend Nigerian universities. Useless people!!

What is wrong with Okada riders attending Nigerian versities..
the core objective of any versity in the world is "character & learning".
that's what Nigerian universities pass unto their students..

Note: identity is what you can not hide from or deny..unfortunately you identified and disgraced yourself publicly.

plus that's the difference between you a poly graduate & university graduate.

OAU beautiful? With those there shitty hostels. A beautiful school that has no liveable hostel, that's why majority of their students live in town. There is a difference between architectural master piece and beautiful. https://www.timeshighereducation.com/student/best-universities/10-most-beautiful-universities-africa-0

Unilag enjoys steady power supply, that I can assure you. The school can't function without it.

Re: Aerial And Ground Pictures Of The University Of Ghana by Excuses: 4:15am On Jun 12, 2020
Nigerians never appreciate their own..why..? why are we so dumb on appreciating everything foreign but feign on our own..
Ghana has nine states with 2 universities..and a population less than 35 million.

By the way, the universities look good.

Nigeria with more than 170 universities and a population of over 200 million..still puts on with herself..surprisingly enough Lagos and Kano put together are more than Ghana.

No Ghanaian or south African will talk low on their country like we do. we contribute to the reasons these guys feel threads like this could make us feel inferior about our own.

South Africa is currently witnessing an economic downturn that is second to non..that's the reason why there were chasing and killing other nationals in their country..

Naija is trying..

The only challenge is population explosion leading to expansion without sustainable increase in infrastructure and boundaries to suit the needs and demands of teeming population..

Note: with good leaders and efficient use of resources naija is cool.

Well, he's actually right. The infrastructure of school has little to do with how highly ranked a university is. The most recognised ranking agencies - ARWU, Times Higher Education and QS - don't include infrastructure as a major criterion in assessing universities' strengths.

That said, only one Ghanaian university is highly ranked in Africa compared to more than three Nigerian universities - CU comes top from Nigeria.

Trying this hard to cope with failure. I asked him to provide link and he vanished. Lol. I’m sure they have convinced you guys that not having access to 24hrs electricity is not important in rating a countries standard of living. The avg. Nigerians mind is molded in suffering kai

The University of Ghana is the oldest and largest of the thirteen Ghanaian national public universities[3]. It was founded in 1948,[4] in the British colony of the Gold Coast, as the University College of the Gold Coast[5],[1] and was originally an affiliate college of the University of London[6],[2] which supervised its academic programs and awarded degrees.

The British knew how to design and build universities.

And I thought you were thought ''how to make meaning out of people's sentences/comments''?

It was only ''one word'' which was missing from his sentence so learn how to read.

My University! Proudly Mensah Sarbah hall and UGBS. The business school. I sight JQB...memories! I see more halls have been added...nice one. Even the medical center completed.
Well you left out some of the traditional halls for male, femkqe and co shared as well as some parts of the school. The tennis, basket ball court, you captured economics but did not capture the pool behind economics and in front of the balme library. You also did not capture the balme library well. It's the best library in Africa . I am super proud!
You did a good job . Welldone
