We want the Olympics now. Who do you think will get to host them first in Africa? SA, Nigeria, Egypt, Morocco, Kenya?
Nigeria is too fúcked to do this now.

I love my country passionately and I know our capabilities.

Our problems are peculiar to us and we custom solutions.

Okay. That means Nigeria too is incapable of holding big events because it's full of blacks. Infavt, Nigeria has never a hosted a global event before. grin Hmm... Niggers hey.

Nigeria has hosted Commonwealth general meeting, hosted under 20 Fifa World Cup and the All Africa games grin grin

True bro! But not all South Africans have that stereotype on Nigerians. And honestly, I don’t have the patience to mingle with myopic South Africans with such view, and I don’t really care what someone else thinks about me. Can’t be bothered about something I have no control over!

Carmit:

Your sentiments are partly shared but what you should remember is there's already a stereotype on Nigerians thats stuck with many South Africans..

You could live your life comfortably but I'll advice you to be weary...don't throw caution to the wind because you're learning Zulu and 'integrating'.

The general perception of you changes when you live your comfort zone....your comfort zone here being where you are accepted.

Just an advice.

As long as I live in peace and go about my business! I’m ok!

I said global - Africa Games are not. Who hasn't hosted the Commonwealth general meeting - even small island nations have. Had you said Commonwealth Games then you'd have been on to something. On the Under20 World Cup Nigeria lost to Costa Rica and Panama to host.

So my point remains, Nigeria hasn't hosted major global events.

In other words, you're saying it will be ok and perfectly justified for them to kill you?
.

He's saying he's not a troublemaker so has nothing to fear. You, who is overlooking his point about drugs and prostitution, will definitely have to look over your shoulder in SA.

I also have preconceived ideas of Nigerians in SA, but I always find that a good initial approach is vital. One of the guys I go do my hair at is a humble guy, that's why I patronise him. There are two other Nigerians i'm friendly with in social circles. They are not typically brash, arrogant and loud. Even here on Nairaland there are cool people and there are those that rub me off the wrong way.
