Secondary school certificate is no longer the minimum requirement for governorship and presidential election. HND and it's equivalent is the minimum certificate since 2 months.

nah , obaseki Is still the present governor. Edo don’t really like Apc , even obaseki winning was through rigging because oshomole was still governor . If obaseki leaves , they are like every other party . Well I prefer he doesn’t run but sponsor another person in another party and make sure that party wins

A big lesson to all politicians mostly president, governors, local government chairmen etc. You need not to start dragging power with those that God used for you to attain that position in life (more importantly FIRST TERM in OFFICE). Remember, Ambode as destined by God was brought from no where to be a governor due to power intoxication he lost his second term bid. Because, as soon as he got to the seat of power,he was busy organising new forum, positioning his boys and inagurating his own cabinet without much intakes from the party that gave him the ticket. Forgetting those who suffererd and campaigned for him, not known that one day he will still need their help. Likewise Obaseki, though was misled by his deputy.
Summarily, my advice is, the incoming politicians should always use their first term to study local politics, try to listen to the advice of the party leaders (not necessarily do everything) and face good governance to gain the masses support there after take over the party as soon as the second term comes to reality.

Na today, something that Tinubu and oshiomole have been planning since after 2019 presidential and national assembly election results wasn't in Apc's favour even buhari himself knows about everything that happened today. I just hope the Edo people will not use their own hands to invite herdsmen into their state by voting for APC.

Jonathan from the PDP was a noble prince while in office. If he had rigged, Buhari would keep shedding that his crocodile tears every four years. Election under Jonathan's presidency was the most democratic.

Yeah Tinubu planned everything, he forced Obaseki to keep 14 elected Edo legislators out of Edo assembly, thereby disenfranchising them.
