I try my best to read through chapters of the Bible over again, all in a bid to get a divine understanding of some seeming mysteries.
For instance: 2nd Kings Chapter3 v 26; When the king of Moab realized he was losing the battle, he and 700 swordsmen tried to break through and attack the king of Edom, but they failed. 27 So he took his firstborn son, who was to succeed him as king, and offered him up as a burnt sacrifice on the wall. There was an outburst of divine anger against Israel, so they broke off the attack and returned to their homeland. (NET). Every story in the bible comes with a lesson even though some might seem confusing at first.

You read the story, so why not provide us the exact details of where the entire story is from?

2 kings 3, details the war up until the King of Moab sacrificing his first son the walls of the city, but does not speak of God's wrath turning on israel as a result of said sacrifice as you assert.

That's much better!

I am guessing another possible issue is that yiu read the bible in the wrong translation. Please stay clear of the KJV. It was written for The church of England and written with English translation that existed during Shakespeare's time in mind.

Please pick up and read from a translation tailored for those of this generation, particularly those with English as a second language like English Standard Version and even better Easy-to-read Version.
