Black men are not the only ones who break the law, the difference is the approach and consequences for breaking the law is different for black men!!! Breaking the law is not unique to skin color, I would hope you know that!!! Being drunk and asleep is a crime in the United States? Was he driving? He was obviously in a vulnerable state and it is the job of the police to protect the vulnerable!

But, I think the police institution as a whole and the justice system needs a thorough overhauling. The police officers in the US seems poorly trained. They seem incapable of handling complex situations and are quick to resort to excessive force. Never seen such with British Police.

Abner Louima didn't struggle with police in their precinct in New York before they sodomized him. Ahmaud Diallo did not struggle with police before they shot him more than 20 times in his apartment building walk way in New York.
