PDP should field him as their governorship candidate because a sitting governor is the only match for any APC candidate. As Obaseki is an asset if he joined PDP at the same time he's a liability due to the discrepancies in his academic qualifications.
Perhaps if he's lucky to win PDP's governorship ticket, there will be many litigations. PDP should look inward and present a loyal and credible candidate within the party instead of gambling with Obaseki.

At the end of the day, Tinubu humiliated them all. Today, Tinubu is the unofficial governor-general of Nigeria. This is why Edo is not Lagos.

Obaseki should move to PDP with his teaming supporters. Bring in Philips Shuaibu as deputy to who ever wins the PDP primary, and with the power of incumbency, will be able to win Edo State back not only to PDP but shame Oshiomhole and APC. Just my thought.
