Re: Few Pics From Imo State by TEDHorsePower: 9:36am On Jun 15, 2020
Well laid out decent neighbourhoods, no wonder most Imolites abandoned their state and moved to Anambra for a decent living, whereas no single Anambran living anywhere near Imo state. Abagworo why? cheesy

Re: Few Pics From Imo State by kikake: 9:36am On Jun 15, 2020
Aru n’eme n’Imo state since 1999, worse, since 2007:
with development infrastructures, every Imo governor first appeases most vocal and most aggressive Owerri people; thereafter, the governor takes home the bulk of the wealth of the state. Owerri people pleased by the governor will not ask questions. The system has been institutionalized in Imo state.
Re: Few Pics From Imo State by TEDHorsePower:
Where's the envious bitter old man called abagworo? Worldclass Anambra international airport loading. Once we complete, we shall convert that motorpark you called airport in Imo state to warehouse where yams are stored. So that good people of Imo state can experience Anambra worldclass aviation facilities for once in their lives. cheesy

That nonsense in Imo state is nothing more than a chalet. Most Imolites are usually moving to Anambra to attend decent schools. See the most beautiful and best university in SE Nigeria. Even your government house in Owerri is a shithole . Cry more cheesy

Abagworo:
This your madness never stop? Imo has challenges of excessive urbanization being the 3rd most urbanized State after Anambra and Lagos you are still telling us only Owerri is urban. Nkwerre, Orlu, Oguta, Akokwa, Mgbidi, Anara/Amaraku, Okigwe, Ahiara, Nekede, Egbu, Amakohia, Amaifeke, Orji, Amaigbo, Umuaka, Okwudor etc are not rural.
If Okwudor, Ahiara, Akokwa, Nkwerre, Amaigbo etc in Imo state that have no common water supply system, no urban infrastructures, are branded urban centres by you, a sincere person should know that you are the mad person here.

Your overthrown crew did not even understand that Owerri without a public water supply system is not fit to be described as modern urban center.

Anuohia who eats only by doing mercenary job for public office holders.

Maybe it's time for a little competition...

when I heard it was an Igbo man that owns EEDC I was devastated, embarrassed and stunned.
I knew then that steady power generation in the southeast will be a mirage.
Emeka offor has been the one frustrating Geometric power from taking off
Igbos!!!!
God bless you for this. Funny part is Emeka Offor isnt generating, only distributing. Geometric is generating. Doesn't it make sense for him to allow them generate while he distributes? That way, everyone gains.

But no, he prefers not to distribute, then use estimated billings to make profit, that way only him gains. It's really annoying that a fellow Igbo man will do this to his people. Well, he shouldn't worry, I'm sure the gods have settled his case but now. It'll shock him

I dont get ur point. That location is nice. If I was to be IMO state governor I would demolish that entire forest and turn it into a huge farm.
Tell me you are joking. Check out developed countries and see how they preserve their natural environments, the European countries even do it more

What brought about the conversation, a uni been built in a forest area.

Are we looking for beauty or economic prosperity.

If u look at IMO state from google earth, u would know that IMO state is still very much back ward than most states, owerri is very small in size.

We are talking about how to develop and expand the city and u people are bordering about forest.

How many forests does Lagos have?

Julius Berger finally comes to Imo state, that's great. Arab contractors should be retained also, while I think Zerock should be sacked from the state for the halfwork they did in Owerri

Yeah, I read about the deal, it's like an icing on the cake. But trust me, if we have a Geometric and a honest EEDC, we'll only need Siemens to replace faulty transmission lines and recalibration or whatever.

Side note: There is a meter company along Owerri road when coming from Mbaise, is it prepaid meter they produce there or what kind of meter?
