I've studied a few persons with low self esteem and these are my findings about them. Check if you are one. When amidst of persons, they talk a lot so their value could be spotted. In the lines of their conversation, you could sense mediocrity. It's always off point. They are easily provoked. Why? Because they feel people would take them serious after posing an angry countenance. They are so hostile, why? Because they feel hostility can bridge respect toward them. After all they scare a lot of persons away from them. The more people run away from them, the more they push or advocate the above and after all that's why they are called low esteem persons. All they try to do is; out of how they feel inferior, they often try to push value out of them but fail to know it's not done by being lousy, talking a lot, being hostile and angry. If a person is not the talking type that always keep to him or herself, you will call that person the shy type or introvert.
If he talks always. you said he or she is suffering from low self esteem.

Don't let anyone define your value for you. Work on yourself and be sure of who you are.

All these trashy comments that Op wrote about low self-esteem is not true. The truth is that if you have a productive content in you, you will know. and if all you have is unproductive content, you will know.

there is no sin in adding value to yourself. The value that you add to yourself is what makes you unique among your peers...
