China, Russia and India`s Information and Cyber-warfare Division`s budget allocation alone is more then what any country on this continent plan for Education.

My C# and STL teacher in NIIT was retired person from CDAC India`s Wall Breaching team, His command on Core Assembly was mind blowing.

There are many hackers /Scammerd in Asia than Nigeria,How come this FB1,C1A,1NTERPOL,only arrest blacks(Expecially Nigerians) and exempt the main perpetrators or brain box behind the hacking? There is no way such hacking can take place without the involvement of a very good hackers from either China,India ,Pakistan or Arab countries but you won’t see them arrested or paraded.

These fraudulent thieves is not about name checking, it exists all over the tribes in Nigeria.
Only the Hausas may be exempted to a high degree.

Call a spade a spade and not an Agricultural implement!

The only reason Hausa are not among is cos they are academically backwards. Should they have level of education as the south, trust me they will do the same.

Are Americans naturally gifted in ignorance and stupidity always? How come they are the only country falling for scams and fraud?

We cant keep blaming the scammers all the time without blaming the scammed.

Seems Americans are silly people.

it is very annoying and shameful that one idiot will call someone and try to scam you with BVN validation or BANK MOBILE APP validation, you report this to the police and they can't trace the number and pin point its last location.
I know in the hollywood movies; its basically drama, but; that technology is available, voice recognition softwares....
NIGERIA NEEDS TO GROW AN INCH IN TECHNOLOGY..

socialmediaman:
Report didn’t state whether these people were resident in Nigeria or the US. Not even their nationalities. Report should be more specific.

Meanwhile Nigeria’s ID system needs to evolve better to cope with today’s standards. Everyone should be able to be identified by their phone numbers and BVNs, plus police should be better funded and cleansed of corruption so they could better do their jobs... not dismissing the fact that government should do better with wealth creation opportunities to assist with the high unemployment rate in the Nigeria

You are right but about the hausas the reason they not there is because their own scamming is our national wealth here at home. Hausa/fulani has stolen more from our treasury than all the other tribes put together so they can't be bothered to go abroad. However it's a worse crime to go outside your house and soil your name as southerners are doing

Just like I said, this is one of the strategies

There are a lot we don't know yet

Are you aware that a Nigerian sold a non-existing airport to a foreigner and made millions of dollars from him? Well, that wasn't a romance scam

Nigerians are intelligent, but they use it for the wrong reasons
I understand what you mean, but most of this guys have zero intelligence in them, they buy tools from hackers mostly from Russia/china hackers. And then use these tools to scam their victims. The tutorials for almost every single scam can be found online and easy to learn once you have access to the tools....the hacker tool developer is the one intellingent!!

Yahoo defender.
Most of those guys aren't resident in Nigeria.
They traveled to "saner clime" only to become a fraudster.
It is obvious that some people can't survive without crime.
So where did you see anyone defending yahoo in my write up? Are you too daft to comprehend a simple writeup?
That your stvpid government government is responsible for un employment, and idleness is responsible for all the 1diotic vices we have in Nigeria, from boko haram to yahoo to banditry and all what not, is that what you cannot comprehend?

Maybe you are one of those politicians, The Nigerian politicians are not doing anything at all to engage their youths, they failed woefully, even the EFCC that pretends to fight corruption is equally corrupt and lopsided get that into your thick skull.

Because of these guys, travelling with Nigerian passport is such a heart breaking experience, in addition to racism.
I still maintain my stand, let us rather go our seperate ways and manage our selves than to answer the bad name that comes with Nigeria.

My dear, it's never going to stop

If you take your time to understand how Yahoo guys work, you will find out that those guys are very smart. If you are not smart, you cannot make a dime from it.

What will happen is that whenever the government finds a fraud pattern, it will be exposed

The guys will invent another one and the cycle continues. That's why you will always see Yahoo guys together...they often live in the same apartment.

Unlike people doing genuine online businesses, Yahoo guys will always be together in order to constantly exchange new ideas on how to defraud their victims

Give it to those guys; they are very intelligent. My fear is that they use their intelligence for the wrong reasons
They are not that smart at all.
That is why they can't survive without fraud.
They invent nothing.
Everything they do today has been used for at least 2 centuries.

This country really needs to create viable opportunities for it's youth... Else there'll be catastrophe in the coming decade...

The rights that we Africans currently enjoy in the white man's land was fought for by the ancestors of the current black citizens of those countries....

They're still fighting to gain more rights from their feudists and racists....

But down here.... Our political class are our own feudal Lord's... We will have to gather the courage to look them in the face and fight the same fight the blacks are fighting in the white man's land.

You hardly hear Chinese Nationals in these kinds of atrocities.... And we all know why... The average chinese family is inherently hardworking....he will cheat you if you let him ...it because he believes he has the right to...if you're not smart enough.to cathc him...

but this thing... This our proclivity to glorify ill gotten wealth..... And SMART/Soft- work. It'll be our undoing walahi

Welcome to Nigeria where the educated South (igbo, yoruba, etc) cannot find themselves any meaningful employment, hence some decided to involve themselves in crimes like yahoo, etc.

While the illiterate North is constituting nuisance with bokoharam, bandit, iswap, etc

Add the above two variables and what you have a a bad name for Nigeria, which lack of Leadership and gross irresponsibility of the political elites have been the common denominator that caused all these.

Since project Nigeria have proved not to work, how long shall we continue to answer this bad name?

Let us balkanize this country into manageable confederations and develope at our own pace, where youths will be engaged with meaningful employment.
The earlier we tell our selves this truth the better for us.

Balkanising will not solve anything

Forget it.

The foundation of the people is what is wrong here

And balkanisation will not solve it
