I have request for the GCMS Notes. Thanks

JustMellow:

Hello Gentlemate00,

The answers you may get will be most definitely be on assumption based. Why not request for your GCMS notes.

Most times, its not always about the documents included but how well delineating it was. If you're thinking of getting hints regarding your application before the arrival of your notes, you'll need to expatiate appropariately the details of your personal profile and/or situation as well as your financial background (if applicable).

This way, people here can contribute their respective inputs.

All the best

Hi.
When did you apply to UWinnipeg and when was admission formally communicated to you. I personally just applied for an Advanced Business Management Diploma today. I want to estimate when I should expect to hear from them.
any other information I need to know would be appreciated.
I made use of an agent, so I really have no idea of the exact time the application was submitted. I actually applied for January 2021, and I got the admission May 5.

Hi nairalanders,

Pls, I am a secondary school graduate from the year 2018 that just turned 18. I applied to Brandon University to study nursing of which I was admitted for a one-year pre-nursing program (after which I'd be admitted to the full program on passing further requirements for the course).

I have prepared my living allowance of up to $11000 CAD and my sponsor, who happens to be my uncle, has paid half of my fees for the session.

So far, I have the following documents:
* Letter of Sponsorship from Uncle
* Admission letter
* Receipt of school fees payment
* Bank statement of 6 months from sponsor
* Bank statement of 6 months for myself (already having the living expenses)

Now I want to apply for a study visa for admission.

What are my chances of getting the visa pls?

Are there any other documents/requirements I'm missing out pls?

Pls, advise me on what to do.

Thanks

Some missing documents
-Proof of source of income from your sponsor
- statement of purpose
- Affidavit of sponsorship
- proof of relationship between you and your uncle

Also note that printed bank statements lasts only 30 days so if you have printed out , you have to submit within that 30 days ( June 17th 2020 you have to submit before July 17th 2020) just an example

Yes I sent a web form last month
They responded with they couldn’t attend to my request now.

And no
No medical request yet. It’s my 2nd application

Paper applications are taking longer than expected. I think you need to exercise a little bit patience until July when the travel restrictions has been lifted and VAC officially re-open again.

The applicant needs to get hold of the previous IRCC forms which was used by the agent in his last application in order to be consistent with the information given in his past application. You don't necessarily need the login details, a fresh account can be generated.

Concordia University admission process takes about 4-5 months prior to a decision is made. The current pandemic could have also prolonged the admission processing. My suggestion is that you should keep sending them a reminder mail every two (2) weeks to know the factual status of your application.

There are several colleges that offers PGD in Business Management. Why an advanced diploma when you already have a degree in Nigeria?. Your chances would be bright enough if you're going for something more lucrative and higher than your previous already completed degree.

Several misinformation and its continuation in his application is a very serious offence in the immigration policy of Canada and might lead to misrepresentation (BAN) from IRCC. The guy in question should order for an Advanced GCMS File - which comes with the copies of his previous application and supporting documents sent to/from IRCC. With this type of GCMS note, he will know exactly what the agent submitted on his behalf and the information presented in the past application.

I hope you find this information useful to your enquiry

Hi.
Thanks for your response.
I have an HND in Estate Management from Yabatech. My ECA by ICAS has evaluated my HND to be equivalent to Applied Bachelor Degree in Canada.
So I settled for this advanced Diploma. The prerequisites is degree or HND.
also can I use ECA done for immigration for admission
Still open to advice and more perspectives

You can't use ECA done for immigration purposes for admission. The two are not the same. The ECA for admission is strictly designed for course-by-course evaluation analysis. With a HND certification, it could have been better if you apply for a direct PGD/C program in Canada.

The University of Regina is not difficult to get in, keep sending emails to them, master's admission process has also been radically affected due to the fact that all universities staffs are presently working remotely. Normally, admission doesn't exceed three (3) months in this school. You may also want to defer your admission to the winter term, 2021 that's if you have limited time to file for your study permit.

Good evening house.

I am new here and but I have been a
Silent reader. I appreciate all you guys do here and I’m here to be a part of it.

Please I have a question to ask and I’ll appreciate if the gurus in the house can help me out.
I plan to apply for a study permit hopefully by the money end. .

My question is in relation to sponsorship.. someone wants to sponsor me, he has an NGO
He will be acting as my sponsor, I have a personal relationship with him not blood ties.. so I don’t know if he should write a normal sponsorship letter or write a letter with the NGO’s letter headed paper. The thing is the NGO haven’t sponsored anyone outside of Nigeria before.. which do you think will be better? If i will be using the NGO as my sponsor is their any extra thing I am expected to do? Please I need an answer guys . Thanks

Why doesn't the Australia student thread move as fast as Canada? Does Canada favour Nigerian students more or what?

Permit me to combat my intended point of view about the above matter. It is a well-known fact that Canada visa thread on Nairaland moves faster than Australian Student thread, this independently doesn't convey that there is leniency in visa issuance for Nigerian students travelling to Canada than Australia. Instead, It is as a result of the following shortlisted factors that influenced more applicants wanting to further their studies in Canada than Australia.

These deciding factors includes;

1. Canada tuition fees are way cheaper than Australia.
2. The chances of becoming a permanent resident of Canada is high whether your program is in demand or not. Once you're done with your studies and have acquired at least a 1 year working experience in Canada, You're very eligible to dive into the Express Entry Pool or possibly get nominated by the province where you schooled. However, in Australia the reverse is the case because if the expertise of your program is not in demand you will be forced to return to your home country.
3. Again, the cost of living is cheaper in Canada than Australia.
4. In terms of universities ranking, Canada is uppermost than Australia.
5. Furthermore, Scholarship availability is higher in Canadian Universities than in Australia.
6. Another driving factor is the fact that Canada doesn't require applicants coming from Nigeria to show proof of English proficiency (IELTS/TOEFL) in any stage of the process (admission or visa). On the other note, English proficiency test is a compulsory requirement for every applicant going to Australia for studies and it's also a requirement in the Australian Study Visa application.

I believe the above information will give you a proper insight as to why Nigerians prefer Canada over other top study destinations like Australia.

Thanks boss. Actually I have received a conditional acceptance and my transcript was pending. The transcript has been sent already and confirmed to be received for more than a week now. What has been left is just receiving my Unconditional Acceptance Letter to allow me begin my SP application. I'm just torn between continually emailing them or giving them time to sort things out themselves.

Please waste no time again. You can apply for your visa with the conditional acceptance you received from the school. IRCC will not reject your application once you can demonstrate that the conditions stipulated on your acceptance letter can be met. I can barely count how many applicants I know that were successful with conditional acceptance letters. I don't see why you should be waiting until this moment before submitting your application.

I may also provide you with proofs so as to validate this information and quench your curiosity.
