All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, and aspirant in Edo State, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu has thanked another aspirant Hon. Osaro Obazee for bowing out of the governorship race and declaring support for his emergence as the primary election draws near.

Hon. Osaro Obazee was one of the three aspirants cleared by the APC Screening Committee to participate in the party’s primary scheduled for Monday, June 22. However, he announced on Wednesday his decision to step down for the race and endorsed the candidacy of Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu.

All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, and aspirant in Edo State, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu has thanked another aspirant Hon. Osaro Obazee for bowing out of the governorship race and declaring support for his emergence as the primary election draws near.

Hon. Osaro Obazee was one of the three aspirants cleared by the APC Screening Committee to participate in the party’s primary scheduled for Monday, June 22. However, he announced on Wednesday his decision to step down for the race and endorsed the candidacy of Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu.

He pledged his support, alongside that of his followers, to the former Secretary to the State Government who is widely predicted to emerge as the APC’s flagbearer.

In his reaction, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, speaking through a statement signed by Prince John Mayaki, the Director of Communication and Media of his Campaign Organization, expressed gratitude to Hon. Osaro Obazee and described his support as another “important boost” for his aspiration days before the primary election.

“Hon. Osaro Obazee is a fine politician whose entrance into the race no doubt injected more life and excitement. He campaigned from his heart and took his message to members and followers of our party across the state. I am grateful to him for his endorsement and very confident that it will provide an important boost to our bid as we approach the primary election of our great party.”

Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu also received the endorsement of all serving members of the House of Representatives representing all constituencies in Edo State on the platform of the All Progressives Congress earlier this week.

Obudu will not step down... Just watch as Obudu might become the party candidate if the case against Ize-Iyamu didn't go in his favour, and it will be too late to decamp to another party, so he will need to work for APC victory.. All this while Osho the short man had it planned this way.

Ize Iyamu that is yet to be accepted into Edo APC controlled by Ojezua who is under the Obaseki camp.
Ojezua the Edo APC chairman has already made it known that ize iyamu will not get any waiver to join APC in any any wards across Edo state

The Benin high court today deferred ruling on Ize iyamu membership of APC till this Friday, after Ize iyamu and his lawyers could not provide in court their purported online registration form and number, ize iyamu claimed used in rejoining APC online.
APC constitution does not allow online registration, u have to go register at ur ward to be a member

APC needs to be very careful with the candidature of Ize Iyanmu.

I know he's got a lot of Benin votes licked down but there is too much litigation around him.

Politics...Watch as all the screened APC contestants steps down for Pastor Eze-Iyamu....There won't be need for Obaseki to be looking for any scapegoats in the name of breaking the interstate lockdown and social distancing rule of not more than 20 people gathering at a time.
