Birth weight - 3.03kg
She was conceived via IVF as I had a blocked Fallopian tube and PCOS. Also has 2 subserous fibroids. The pregnancy was relatively easy. I only was at the hospital on account of pain from the fibroid twice when they were moving. The CS procédure went very well. I had a very positive experience and great recovery - already walking around with minimal pain. Still getting a hang of breastfeeding but taking my time. In all baby and mum are doing superb while daddy is elated.

I wish my other June team mates and every expecting person here a successful delivery.

Yesterday I wasn't feeling great, I kept having tightening of the stomach, I bet is not braxton hicks. It comes, goes, comes again and finally it stopped.
Last night I drank cornflakes with my children, I didn't take much although I made it for myself but they won't allow me to shine. In the night, the tightening worsened, stomach pain, headache and nausea. I kept turning from one side to another but yet I wasn't comfortable. I rushed to the bathroom, vomiting and pooping at the same time. The vomit has a very very bitter taste, when I tried forcing out the vomit, I felt something come out from my HP, I checked it was clear, large amount of MP, I started crying and begged baby to please wait till next month cos we're just 34weeks gone. I drank 5 satchel water at a go, dunno how I did it but I did it.
Went for scan, was told baby is fine, cervix closed. Doc told me is probably what I ate that caused it. I still feel weak tho but I know it'll end in praise.

I guess LMP is best used for calculation. But since it's still within the +/- 2 weeks range, you have nothing to worry about.
My first scan and second scan gave me two dates 6 days apart. I've been calculating with LMP though.

We are team green.Expecting to know gender only at birth.
The sonographer mistakenly referred to the leading twins as he.(Hopefully we get two boys or one of each)this is because we already have two girls.However,we will be waiting till birth to finally know gender.

Scan will keep giving you different dates depending on various factors.Even hospitals calculate using LMP except in situation were the mother can't remember when her last period occurred.

You need to monitor your carbs and sugar intake . Also drink plenty of water and avoid sugary foods, snacks and fruits. U shld also try monitoring your sugar levels and observe the foods that triggers sugar levels.

28% is not okay at all, i suffered same blood shortage not too long ago,same 28%, I didn't take any blood tonic or drugs rather I used garden egg leaf( plenty of it), squeezed ugu water and malt and milk, then while making my tea I use a lot of milk, I checked 5 days ago and the blood level is now 35%, try these things and see if it would work for you..

I had wanted to say this ( taking the child to Massey), @bettylizzy if you are in Lagos, find your way to Massey children hospital for the sake of that baby and if you are not in Lagos move that baby away from that private facility, take him to general hospital or teaching hospital around you. private will keep milking you until you have nothing more left moreover they don't always have much pead consultant as government hospital. at Massey you will spend less and the child will be well attended to by specialist but the nurses and cleaners get bad mouth sha ooooo, just ignore them.

Infact this thing want to turn me to something else. I'm just angry. It will pass by Gods grace.

Trust your doctor, if you have any concerns and questions, approach them. I think your case is a little different because baby is preterm cos babies with jaundice need to be fed on demand and as often as possible, so they can pass it out.

This too shall pass. Be strong.

Edit: I just read where you said he eats well and has no other issues. I dont know why he is still kept there even after transfusion. Most hospitals discharge with levels less than 10 sef, my daughter had 11.1 at first, it dropped to 9 or so after the 3days treatment and we used the pawpaw thing thereafter.

But my sister, what I want you to know, effects of prolonged and untreated jaundice is very bad. No two cases are the same.

Why not seek a second opinion, preferably in a teaching hospital.

It is well.sit down,take a deep breath and weigh all your options.
Whatever the decision you conclude on taking, I'd advise you do it without bringing it up here.This is because this is a sensitive group where we've got mom to be and people struggling to become a mum and you shouldn't expect them to support your claim to terminate.(Life can be so unfair oftentimes....people with stable finance are looking for such blessings and yet they couldn't get).

Your total income might look big but might not be able to give you that average standard of living your husband crave for especially in Lagos(we all know money has no value)

I hope you make the right choice.

Thank u dear, ur story was a very inspiring one. I don't really have problem with keeping the baby but the issue is my husband like I stated above. There is no insult I didn't get from him when I told him because he was very angry and he feels very ashamed. When I gave birth to d 3rd child, he did not tell anybody out of shame. Now he's saying people will laugh at him. He don't just want to hear anything so how am I going to convince him? That is why I just wanted to have my peace. Thank u for ur advice and congrats on your house. I tap into ur blessing and pray God will give us our own home too sometime soon.

Pls I need some form of information, I'm two months pregnant with my 4th child, I always wanted 4 children and though I didnt want d fourth one too soon as d last is just two and wasn't sure about my husband's preference but to him the number of children we should have depends on our financial power. I'm in my late 30's my husband 40. When I broke d news to him, he got very angry telling me we can hardly pay fees of d 3 we have that he doesn't need any more children at all that people will just be laughing at him that I should pls go and do what I have to do Since then he has not talked to me (And I know him, he will continue being angry till I remove this child). Our total monthly pay is around 230k. We contribute equally. He's not making effort to increase finance but just talks of business ideas but never seems to actualize d dreams just always talking n talking of plans since I know him all he do is talk no move. Well apart from goin to open leg for evacuation which I'm not comfortable with, pls my question is, is there any drug I can just swallow to quietly do d job without any complications? Meanwhile I was on birth control pills when this happened and I only saw oga like two times that particular month so I don't know how it happened. Pls what can i take without complications im like 2 months now

This baby might be the best among your children. You can’t foretell destiny. I would say to ignore your dh for now and carry on. He’ll come around later and will even like that baby more than the rest. I’ve seen so many of such cases. God that sent that child will provide. You can also tell him you want to deliver and give up the baby for adoption and then see his reaction. I know you can’t even have the courage even if you want to give up the baby. Stand your ground and have your baby ma
